(Sitting on top of a ladder in the ring set up in the Superdome is Josh Dobbes in a black t-shirt with ring gear on and the Icon Championship hanging above up on a loop. Josh with a microphone in hand, held to his bearded face and a blank look in his eyes stares out over the sea of fans in the home oof Wrestle X this year in twenty twenty two.)

Win or lose I will be reaching for the top of this company tomorrow and the next day and the day after that and so on because this is my life. Unlike two of my opponents, I will remain with SEF through thick and thin. Jason Price knows what I am talking about, he and I have been back and forth in the weeks leading to Wrestle X and it is he who I took the Icon Title from. That was not very long ago and I have become very attached to that title in such a short time, so if Midnight or Sierra Perry think they are going to skate in on some good looks and vampire diaries, then they best think again and think real long and hard about how they are going to look past a fifteen year veteran of SEF. Neither of them have been here half as long as I have. I remember seeing Midnight debut years ago though only to run away just as quick as she showed up, and that would be her pattern ever since, inconsistent and unreliable, not the makings of a good pro wrestler. But maybe she has learned from her mistakes and you know what, I hope she has because that is what I am going to expect is a fight for my title, not to just walk up the ladder and grab it with ease. And I know, expectations are not always met, but I don't care, I'm here to fight, to get violent against anyone standing in my way to the top. Sierra Perry is indeed a pretty little thing, but forgive me, I am looking past looks to destroy what you bring to this fight for MY Icon Championship. I don't care how pretty you are, how old you are, how much you SUCK, or how Priceless you think you are, Wrestle X in the Superdome right here in New Orleans...
(The crowd popping loud know and Josh nods and continues.)

I care about this moment in time where I reach up and take my title home to defend next week again and again. I don't care what I have to do to Midnight, Sierra, or Jason. Nothing is too far to keep calling myself champion, NOTHING. Jason knows better than either of these girls of how violent I will get, but rest assured, I will show Midnight and Sierra just what real violence look manifested into their indoctrination of violence from the messiah. The messiah of violence, fifteen years since I coined that moniker and I been putting people through tables, ladders, chairs, glass, c4, barbed wire, thumbtacks, nails, chains, kendo sticks, trash cans, and throwing people off ladders, and scaffolding, tables, man its been a long journey and I'm still climbing to the top. I started in SEF from a referee seventeen years ago and its about time I got a moment like this to catapult me into a bigger picture. Fatal four way ladder match, its a big deal at Wrestle X for the Icon Championship and nothing else really matters except this. I am the biggest icon in this match and none of my opponents really can say much about it. Jason Price may be second to me, but he just got out of his tag team specialist days. Midnight, Sierra Perry, both just returned and from what!? What legacy has either had in SEF or even brought to SEF? Neither is an icon of this sport. They made the best of their situations to get into a match at Wrestle X and that is good work, but taking that Icon Title over me, well, over my dead body and I am prepared. Are any of my opponents ready to die for this?
(Josh standing up to grab the title and slap it, then steps down the ladder dropping the mic and exits the ring as I'm Broken by Pantera plays over the pa and the Icon Champ just walks to the back amongst a fired up crowd ready for Wrestle X.)
