Smackdown is Stephanie 47 {1/9/03}

Pyros shoot off as Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson plays and Smackdown kicks off live from the sold out Tucson Convention Center In Tucson, Arizona! Michael Cole and Tazz begin the show from near the stage at the announce position!

Cole: Hello everybody and welcome to smackdown! I am michael cole alongside tazz and we have a great show tonight!

Tazz: Damn straight we do! The main event really looks good! Strife, hayabusa, and chrois jericho teaming up to take on johnny x, rapid, and daddy mack inside of a cage!

Cole: That should be a great match! Also kaci and victoria lock up in a match tonight that should have been for the hardcore titlem but victoria lost it earlier tonight!

Tazz: Yea, thats tough luck though! Also man, the debut of ralph the bum is tonight against shane viper! I like this guy, he's funny!

Cole: Yea, he is funny and very, very unorthodoxed! Anyways, later tonight chris benoit and christian michaels go one on one in a hardcore match to determine who faces the hardcore champ on sacrifice!

Tazz: Yea, that should be a good match as well! Plus matt hardy goes against stone cold in his austins debut tonight! Talk about a rocketbuster!

Cole: That will be a great match too! The triple threat with christina, lita, and ashley will be good also! But that amin event will definitely take the show!

Tag Team Match

Details: The ref declares johnny and test the winners when andy and risktaker fail to show up for the show!

Winner: Johnny Angel&Test via No Show

Cole: I guess andy and riskatker didn't feel like competing tonight!

Tazz: I guess not!

Singles Match

Details: The match starts off with matt and austin locking up! Austin backs matt into a corner and begins munching away at him, then nails some chops! Matt falls to the mat and austin begins stomping him into the mat! He then picks up matt and whips him into the ropes going for a clothesline, but matt ducks and comes back with a sunset flip trying for a quick pin! Austin kicks out and jumps up nailing matt with right hands, then kicks him in the gut and goes for a stunner, but matt catches his foot and whips him around, kicks him in the gut and tries for the twist of fate! Austin pushes matt into the ropes and has he comes back, gives matt a spinebuster! Austin stomps on matt, then picks him up and fires a couple rights, whips him into the ropes and hits the lou thez press, some rights and lefts, then gets up and comes off the ropes with an elbow drop! Matt slowly gets up and tries hitting austin, but austin just sways back, kicks matt in the gut and nails the stunner and pins him to win!

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via Pinfall

Cole: Wow, austin was sure impressive in his debut match!

Tazz: Yea he was! What a win he picked up over mat hardy tonight!

Singles Match

Details: Victoria starts out by jumping kaci early and beating on her with fists of rage, keeping kaci down and stomping her a lil! She picks up kaci and whips her into the ropes, going for a clothesline, but misses when kaci ducks and goes behind, hitting a german suplex on victoria! They both get up and victoria swings at kaci, but kaci blocks her and nails her own punch, then clotheslines victoria down and stomps her a few times! Kaci goes up top and hits a moonsault on victoria, picks her up and hits a running powerslam! Kaci goes for the pin, but only gets two! She gets up, picking up victoria with her and trying for a suplex, but victoria counters into her own suplex, then goes on the outside of the ropes and jumps in, hitting a leg drop on kaci! Victoria tries pinning, but only gets two, so she starts choking kaci, then puches her and stands up to shout at the ref who is trying to get her off! She turns aroudn and kaci meets her with soem right hands, whips her into the rops and dropkicks her as victoria comes back! She then grabs victoria, sets her up, and gives her the shattered fate and pins her to win!

Winner: Kaci via Pinfall

Cole: Kaci sure did a good job tonight! Man what a match she had with victoria!

Tazz: It sure was good! Those two tomatoes had a grea match!

Hardcore Match

Details: Both men begin by locking up, michaels gets benoit in a headlock, then takes him down to the matt keeping the headlock on! Benoit rolls around and gets out of it, countering into an armbar, but michaels breaks it and they both get up! Michaels runs at benoit who drops down and gives him a toe hold to the mat, then rolls around looking for a headlock of his own, but michaels slips out and gets up stomping benoit in the back! He drops an elbow into benoits back, then pulls him up and nails a suplex, goes up top and does a 450 splash, pins, but only gets two! They both get up throwing punches when michaels knees benoit in the gut and hits the smoky mountauin drop! He looks around with a cocky look, but stops and remembers matts words, then picks up benoit, whips him into the ropes and hits the heartbreaker, pins him and wins the match!

Winner: Christian Michaels via Pinfall

Cole: Very good match by both men, but michaels got the win this time!

Tazz: Thats for sure! Benoit tried, but michaels won! I guess matt hardy is a good teacher!

Singles Match

Details: Shane starts off trying to take down ralph and does so with a waistlock, but ralph claws at shanes hands, digging his nails into his hands! Shane releases at shakes his hands a bit! They both get up and sane goes for a lock up, but backs up and starts running around the ring, then drops down and forms a ball! Shane laughs and turns to teh ref to ask whats up when ralph grabs shanes tights and rolls him up, but only gets two! Ralph begins punching away at shane, then picks him up and whips him into the ropes hitting a hard clothesline! He stomps away at shane for at leats a minute, not letting him up, then runs off the ropes and jumps on him with a splash and tries pinning again, but only gets two! Ralph gets up and grabs shane by the hair, picking him up! He tries ddting shane, but shane counters into a northen lights suplex for a pin, but only gets two! Shane gets up and grabs ralph, looking for the deadly venom, but ralph backdrops him, then hits the junk slam and pins to win the match!

Winner: Ralph The Bum via Pinfall

Cole: Well, it looks as if another of matt hardys students has won tonight!

Tazz: Yea, and it was the bum! I mean ralph the bum! Ya gotta love this guy!

Triple Threat Match

Details: The ref awards the match to christina when lita and ashley fail to appear!

Winner: Christina Love via No Show

Cole: Well, I guess christina wins then!

Tazz: Yea, lita and ashley pulled a quick one and didn't show up!

Steel Cage
Six Man Tag Team Match

Details: All six men starts off staring at each other, then suddenly, johnny flies at jericho, taking him down and the two roll around punching one another as strife runs over, but rapid tackles him and starts punching him! Hayabusa looks to grabs rapid, but mack runs over and clotheslines hayabusa to the mat! Jericho has now turned the tide and is putting the boots to johnny when mack dropkicks him in the back, then grabs jericho by the hair and rams his head into the cage! Rapid has strife up and suplexes him, then grabs him and throws him into the side of the cage! Mack picks up hayabusa who rakes his eyes, but rapid grabs hayabusa in a full nelson and holds him in place as mack recovers and begins punching hayabusa in the gut! Johnny is now up and kicking away at jericho, picks him up and begins running jerichos face into the steel cage, making him bleed! Mack and rapid have hayabusa dazed now and hanging his head down, then rapid lets him go and he flops to the mat! mack picks up strife who starts trading puches with mack till mack knees him in the gut and whips him to rapid who gives strife the exterminator! Johnny whips jericho into the ropes and looks for a spear, but jericho moves around him and gives johnny a german suplex! He gets up and jumps on rapid and looks to give him a german suplex, but mack runs over, jumps over both of them and lands behind jericho, locks him a waist lock as rapid breaks free of jericho and mack gives jericho a german suplex! Rapid picks up hayabusa and whips him to mack who nails da shows ova, then they grabs johnny and drag him out of the cage with then and win the match!

Winners: Johnny X,Rapid,Daddy Mack

Cole: Wow, that was certainly a good match! Johnny, rapid, and mack mostly had control, but jericho fought back somewhat!

Tazz: Yea, but it was too much for him and the other three! I guess they were all right, hayabusa was too worn out from raw and strife just wasn't there!

Cole: I guess so! Anyways folks, thats all for now, so we'll see ya next week and have a goodnight!
