Evolution 18 {8/8/03}

Before the show, Daddy Mack is shown in his office wearing his usual white suit with the US Title over his shoulder.

Mack: That's right people, the US Title is coming back tonight and I will personally hand this title to whoever wins the tournament. There has been a lot of great champions in SEF and quite a few have held this title making it widely recognized, hell even I held it on a couple occasions, so tonight, we add one more great champion, just gotta see who.

With that, the scene cuts out to the arena where Evolution 169 blasts out from the speakers as some pyro shoots off signaling the start of the show. The camera pans around the Skyreach Place in Kelewna Canada, showing all the screaming fans. It then stops at ringside showing Kid Rock and Eminem.

Kid: Yeehaw people, what the fuck is up in here?

Em: Shit dogg, feeling good or what?

Kid: Oh yea, cause tonight is hot, hot, hot, tonight we crowd a brand new US Champ.

Em: That we do and we got quite a few good people competing tonight.

Kid: Yea, the two best in my view who will be the hardest to beat have got to be Bubba Ray and Cyclus.

Em: True man, I hope Bubba takes it though, Cyclus is a dick.

Kid: Damn straight, mucthafucka wants to jump up us, fuck him. Anyways, let's get on with this gig.





SEF United States Championship Tournament Match
Andrew Velzian vs. Rapid

Velzian and Rapid are both in the ring and soon begin swinging away at one another when Rapid knees Velzian in the gut and whips into the ropes, then hits him with a high knee. Rapid picks up Velzian and backs him into a corner where he lays in some chops and punches before bulldogging him out. He then picks Velzian back up and tries for a cradle piledriver, but Velzian backdrops him. Rapid rolls to the outside and Velzian follows. Velzian whips Rapid into the ringpost and he goes down near the ring where he pulls out a sledgehammer. Velzian gets a steel chair, but neither man knows the other has a weapon and swings, hitting each other and both getting laid out. The ref disqualifies both men.

Carson Daly: This match has ended in a double dq!

Kid: What the fuck dogg, these damn bitches pull that shit, fucking punks.

Em: I know man, that's fucking low.

Cyclus vs. The Jackal

Both men are in the ring already and soon Cyclus charges Jackal, tackling him and laying in some hard right hands. Cyclus then picks up Jackal and whips into the corner and looks for a clothesline, but gets kicked in the face and clotheslined by Jackal. Jackal pick sup Cyclus and hits a suplex, then pounds up on his back before lifting him up in a press slam. Cyclus though slips down behind Jackal clubs him in the back, then locks him in a sleeper. Cyclus really locks it in and gets Jackal down to the mat and starting to fade out. The ref raises Jackal's arm twice, but on their try, Jackal starts pumping up and fights out of the sleeper with some elbows, then runs the ropes and looks for a clothesline, but Cyclus ducks, whips him around, kicks Jackal in the gut and nails him with The Clamp, then pins, 1.........2..........3!

Carson Daly: Here is your winner............Cyclus!

Stranglehold hits as Cyclus stands up raising his hands in the air and drinks a few beers before heading to the back.

Kid: Alright, Cyclus is a dick, but he did whip some ass there and won fair, so props to him.

Em: Yea man, gotta admit, he is a fucking good wrestler, but still, I hope he loses.

Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Kurt Angle

Bubba Ray and Angle both end up coming out and get in the ring. They lock up and Bubba overpowers Angle backing him into the corner. Looks like a clean break, but Angle rakes Bubba's eyes and goes behind him for a german suplex. Bubba blocks it and elbows Angle in the head, then nails a couple punches before elbowing him in the head, sending him down and giving him a double axe handle smash. Bubba picks up Angle and scoop slams him near the corner, goes to the second rope and tries a senton drop, but Angle rolls away and locks Bubba in a side headlock. He rolls on the mat, keeping Bubba down, but soon Bubba fights up and shoves Angle into the ropes, then shoulderblocks him down. Bubba nails a couple elbow drops before picking up Angle and whipping him into the ropes, catching him and hitting a samoan drop. Bubba lays back for a pin, but only gets two, then both men get up and Angle kicks Bubba in the gut. He goes behind Bubba for a Angle Slam, but Bubba slips out of it and locks Angle in a full nelson, then hits the Bubba Bomb and pins, 1..........2...........3!

Carson Daly: Here is your winner..............Bubba Ray Dudley!

Bombshell hits as Bubba stands up celebrating his win.

Kid: Yea, now that's how ya win, I hope Bubba goes all the way.

Em: Me too man, be kinda cool seeing Bubba win it.

Matt Matlock vs. James Tsunami

Matt and James are in the ring and Matt runs, clotheslining James down, then picks him up and whips James to the ropes and ends up backdropping him. James gets up and his met with The Matlock Drop and pinned, 1.........2.........3!

Carson Daly: Here is your winner..............Matt Matlock!

Born With Nothing, Die With Everything hits as Matt celebrates his win.

Kid: Shit man, Matt just whipped James ass in a matter of seconds.

Em: Yea, James ain't too great, but what a statement Matt made.





Before the next match starts. Cowboy hits and Daddy Mack comes strutting out with the US Title on his shoulder. Matt is in the ring waiting for the main event as Mack heads over to the commentators table at ringside and has a seat.

Mack: Hey boys, what up?

Kid: Mack, what a treat having ya out here.

Em: Yea, what up man.

Mack: Not much boys, just checking out the final match here.





Triple Threat Match

Cyclus vs. Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Matt Matlock

Stranglehold hits and out runs Cyclus who hits the ring and starts slugging it out with Matt, eventually backing him into a corner and stomping him to the mat. He whips Matt out to the ropes, then kicks him in the gut and gives him The Clamp. As that happens, Bombshell hits and out runs Bubba Ray. Cyclus goes for the pin, but Bubba makes it in time and breaks up the fall, then picks up Cyclus and whips him into the ropes and nails a clothesline on him. Matt jumps up and clubs Bubba in the back, then whips him into a corner and runs at him only to get kicked in the face and tackled by Bubba who delivers some hard punches. Cyclus is up and nails a boot to Bubba's head, then picks him up and tosses him out of the ring. Cyclus picks up Matt and sends him into the ropes, then gives a spinebuster. He then picks up Matt again and kicks him the gut giving The Clamp for a second time. Before he can pin though, Bubba comes charging back in the ring and tackles Cyclus, leveling him with some hard rights and lefts. Then, from the back runs Viper to the ring who slides in and spears Bubba to hell. Mack flies into the ring and stops the ref from doing anything and tells him to call the match as a no dq match. Viper looking to get his spot goes after Mack who quickly exits the ring. D-Von comes running out and jumps on Viper's back, taking him to the outside where the two fight. Cyclus picks up Bubba and looks for The Clamp, but Mack jumps back in the ring and nails Da Shows Ova on Cyclus, then rolls out as Bubba pins Cyclus, 1...........2...........3!

Carson Daly: Here is your winner and new US Champion..............Bubba Ray Dudley!

Bombshell hits as Bubba jumps up and Viper gets in the ring after beating down D-Von. Both Bubba and Mack head off Viper and he just heads to the back, then Mack gets the US Title and hands it to Bubba raising his hand in the air.

Kid: Holy shit, that was a nice ass match that saw quite a few different people run into.

Em: Fuck man, I thought it was never gonna end the way everyone kept jumping each other.

Kid: I know, but it did and we got our new US Champ, Bubba Ray, so that ends the show, night all and peace.
