Smackdown is Stephanie 44 {12/19/02}

Pyros shoot off as Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson plays and Smackdown kicks off live from the sold out St. Pete Times Forum In Tampa, Florida! Tazz and Michael Cole begin the show from near the stage at the announce position!

Cole: Hello everybody and welcome to smackdown! I am michael cole alongside tazz and we have a great show tonight!

Tazz: Yea we do! David flair is back and once again going for cruiserweight gold! Also a big fatal four way between four good women in sef!

Cole: Not to mention we have a triple threat mach to determine the number one contender to the ic title at royal rumble! Plus strife and dustin gabriel challenge ace and rapid for the tag titles!

Tazz: Yea they do, but strife is in that triple threat match as well as ace is in a match against daddy mack for with the us title on the line!

Cole: That should be great! But the main event has shaped up to be phenomenal! One of the rising stars here in sef against one of the sef's greatest athelest, the world champ viper! I can't wait to see that and the ic title is on the line as well!

Hardcore Match
United States Title

Details: Ace starts off strong against mack, overpowering him and laying some right hands! Mack turns the tables when ace tries for a big boot, but mack ducks and dropkicks ace's knee, bringing him down! Mack then jumps on ace and starts beating him down, then jumps outside and starts throwing all kinda of weapons, even bringing out a ladder and sliding it in the ring! Shane comes over and nails mack in the back, but mack just turns around, grabs shane by the collar and whips around into a bitch slap by stephanie mcmahon, dropping shane to the floor! Mack jumps in the ring only to be kicked in the gut by ace and hit with the westcoast expulsion! Ace tries pinning, but only gets two, so he grabs a kendo stick and looks to hit mack with it! Mack however drops down and gives ace a drop toe hold ino a trash can! He then takes the kendo stick and wails on ace with it, then sets up the ladder and climbs to the top, flying off of it and hitting an elbow drop on ace! Mack gets to his feet with a chair and ace gets up, mack throws him the chair, then nails da shows ova into the chair, driving it into ace, knocking him down! Mack pins and wins the match!

Winner: Daddy Mack via Pinfall

Cole: Wow, what a match! Mack sure showed ace what hardcore means!

Tazz: He sure did! mack is extremely dangerous in those matches regardless of his size!

Cruiserweight Title

Details: Shane and david lock up and shane backs david into a corner, chopping away at him! David reverses shane in the corner and gives him a few chops, then whips him into the other corner, runs at him with a clothesline and smashes him in the t/b's! David then picks up shane in a body slam, but instead sets him upside in the corner and backs up, then runs in and dropkicks shane in the face! Shane drops down and david picks him up, nails a powerbomb, then pins him to win the match!

Winner: David Flair via Pinfall

Cole: David flair sure showed he still has it! What a great performance he put on tonight!

Tazz: Yes indeed he did! David is a great athlete just like his father ric flair!

Triple Threat Match
#1 Contender For Intercontinental Title At Royal Rumble

Details: All three men just stare at each other when the bell rings, then austin strikes strife with some right hands, but svd clubs austin the back, then gives hima suplex! Strife grabs svd and gives him a belly to belly suplex, then picks up austing by the waist from behind and gives him a german suplex! Svd is up and starts trading punches with strige till austing gets up and knocks strife back, then nails svd with punches and gives him the stunner! Before he can pin svd, strife big boots austin, then picks him up and does the agony crush and pins him to win the match!

Winner: Strife via Pinfall

Cole: Strife sure got some revenge on austin for the last time they met!

Tazz: Yea he did! Austin got hit hard with the agony crush!

Singles Match

Details: Syn and torrie get started with a few slaps when suddenly the two masked men run out o the ring! The biggets man boots torrie in the face as the other one grabs syn and gives her a powerslam!

Winner: Double DQ

Cole: What the hell?! They came out again!

Tazz: I know! Who are these guys!

Fatal Four Way

Details: All four women begin by tearing into each other! Cassidy takes down ashley and ends up outside the ring, beating her against the barricade and slamming her into the steel steps! Kaci and mya trade punches till kaci knees mya in the stomach and begins chopping her a few times, then nails her with a ddt, followed up by the inerventional divine! Cassidy then jumps in the ring and runs at kaci clotheslining her down and beating her head into the mat! Ashley goes up top and flies off landing an elbow into cassidy's back, then picks up mya and tries for a suplex, but gets reversed! kaci is up and as mya turns around, kaci nails her with the innocent kiss and pins her to win the match!

Winner: Kaci via Pinfall

Cole: What a match that was! Those women sure showed everyone why they should not be taken lightly!

Tazz: Thats for sure! Kaci especially stold the spotlight by winning a great match!

World Tag Team Titles

Details: Rapid starts off against dustin, overpowering him and working him over close to his and ace's corner keeping him isolated! Rapid hits him with a piledriver and a ddr, then tags out to ace who comes in and nails some right hands, then chokeslams dustin! Strife runs in and breaks up the pin attempt by ace which prompts rapid to jump in and exterminate strife, taking him down and rolling him to the outside! Afterwards rapid tags back in and eventually hits the rx explosion on dustin to win the match!

Winner: Acetaker&Rapid via Pinfall

Cole: Well ace and rapid sure dominated in that match! They are definitely good tag champs!

Tazz: Sure are! Ace almost looked a lil fatigued from his earlier match, but so did strife!

Two Falls Match
1st Fall: Intercontinental Title
2nd Fall: World Heavyweight Title

Details: Johnny and viper begin by locking! Johnny struggles to win it, but viper is too strong and sends johnny flying back into the corner, puting him on the matt as well! Viper quickly runs into the corner and knees johnny in the face, then picks him up and suplexes him! Viper keeps him down and locks in a sleeper hold, applying a lot of pressure! Johnny starts to fade, but soon fights up and elbows viper in the ribs, then runs the ropes and tries taking down down viper, but viper catches him and delivers a belly to belly suplex! Johnny sits up next to the ropes and viper distracts the ref as flair nails johnny in the head with teh world title, then viper picks up johnny and hits the crucifix and pins to win the first fall!

Winner Of 1st Fall: Viper via Pinfall

Details: After the first fall, viper repins johnny trying to get it over with, but johnny kicks out! He begins punching johnny in the head, then picks him up, whipping johnny into the ropes and hitting him with a high knee! Viper backs into a corner, then coem sout and drops a knee on johnny's chest! He proceeds to then rip apart johnny with a lot of different holds and moves, trying to make him quit which johnny refuses to do! At one point viper has a figure four leglock applied to johnny and almost has him out, but the ref catches flair tugging on vipers hand and breaks hold! Johnny starts mounting a comeback, catching viper with some punches, then runs the ropes a couple times, clotheslining viper who stays up, but on the third try, johnny takes down viper with a flying forearm smash! He then sits up and waits for viper to get up! When he does, johnny runs to him and hits him with a spear, tries pinning but only gets two! They both get up and viper goes for the crucifix, but johnny backdrops him and looks for the x-ecution, only to be overpowered and setup for hells furry which johnny block, lands on his feet and hits the x-ecution viper! He goes for the pin, but suddenly chris jericho runs out wiht a chair and nails johnny in the back causing a dq! Jericho beats on johnny repeatedly, till johnny can't move and his bleeding! Flair gets in and begins stomping johnny, then viper sets him up and hits the crucifix on him! Viper and flair leave the ring grinning as jericho locks johnny in the walls of jericho!

Winner Of 2nd Fall: Johnny X via DQ

Cole: That sure was a great main event we had, but it sure was ruined when chris jericho interuppted what could have been johnny's dream come true!

Tazz: yes it could have been! Johnny could have won, but then again he might not have! We will never know now!

Cole: Well, he may still get another shot down the road, lord knows he deserves it after tonight! Anyways folks, thats all for tonight and we'll see ya next week, bye!
