30 Wrestlers compete in a over the top battle royal until 8 remain, then the X-Cage lowers over the ring with 2 participants in each cell and the rules of X-Cage apply from there until one remains, the winner of The Hardcore Rumble who has the right to main event Wrestle X against a champion of their choosing.

Mack looks to end this one quick with Da Shows Ova planting X in the first few seconds, but the lights go out. After ten or fifteen seconds they come back on to find The Resurrector standing over Mack who lays out cold on the mat. The lights go out again for the same period of time, then flash back on to find the ring empty and J X C scurrying to the back with his title clutched tight.
