Evans has not wrestled in over a year.
Lacey Evans will return to the ring for her first match in over a year on next week's WWE Raw.
Evans' return to action was the only thing announced for next week's Raw during this week's episode. No opponent was announced for Evans.
Evans last wrestled on the February 15, 2021 episode of Raw, teaming with Peyton Royce in a tag team bout against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Evans went on maternity leave later that month, and gave birth to her second child in October 2021.
A series of vignettes announcing the imminent return of Evans to WWE programming began on SmackDown in April 2022. In the series of videos, Evans told her life story, and was presented as a sympathetic babyface.
Evans re-debuted on the May 6 episode of SmackDown, and was seemingly reintroduced as a heel character. An Evans vignette then aired on the May 9 Raw, and it was reported that she had been moved to the Raw brand.
Evans cut an in-ring promo on the May 16 Raw episode, but did not appear on this week's show.
