After the deaths of his parents, he and his cousin Justin were left PCWF Global in their will. Matt and his twin sister Maegan were left with joint custody of their younger sister, Emma who was 14 at the time of their parents death. Matt assumed full responsibility for everything and reliquinshed the PCWF Global title after a match with Justin at The Legacy Remains in November 2006. Matt wrestled in juniors until being given the choice between wrestling academically or going pro early. Matt chose to wrestle in high school and then all four years of his undergrad at Duke, where he majored in Biology. He would eventually attend Harvard Medical School and do their joint program with their business school. He earned his Masters in Business Administration shortly before the death of his parents. He also has a post graduate certificate in Sports and Marketing Management from NYU. He trained to wrestle first with his father Christopher, and later with Lance Storm at the LSWF school and with Antonio Inoki at the Inoki Genome MMA organization. Matt holds three black belts in Tai Chi, Wing Chun, and Jeet Kune Do. He trained under Jennifer and Phoenix Inooki. Matt is the head trainer/executive director of the Hardcore Heaven Gym and Wrestling school and has held every championship that the PCWF brand offered (except the women's title) before the consolidation of titles in Febuary 2006 in which he was the first person to hold the PCWF Global HW title which he held for almost two years. Appearance When Matt is working he prefers sports jackets, t-shirts, and jeans, unless its a board meeting or executive meeting and wears a suit. His fave shirt is a black Cartman shirt with "Respect My Authority" written in white. Ring Entrance Matt generally loves the business and whether the fans cheer him or boo him he smiles. He looks around at the fans as he comes out. If he is being cheered he is throws his arms out and poses. He is completely gracious and slaps hands as he heads to the ring. Extras Matt has a great sense of humor but is young and has a lot on his shoulders. Even though he misses wrestling and left wrestling in 2007 to raise his younger sister and run his father's business, he will not back down when challenged personally or his family is threatened. He still trains regularly with his wife (who is an active wrestler), his sister, cousin, and brother-in-law.
