Golden Glory 2 {6/29/08}

The show opens up inside The Pyramid in Memphis Tennessee, a sold out crowd screaming loud as the opening pyro shoots off, then "Need This Need" by Drown his heard over the pa as the arena lights come on and the cameras roam all over the place.


Nick Miller: Hello everyone and welcome to Golden Glory presented by SEF. Tonight we crown a new King of SEF when the final four competitors of the tournament clash in three matches, plus Julie and Sammy meet one on one for the first time ever!


Greg Boone: Who cares about the divas, myself and everyone came here to see Shane Mack get the crown he rightfully deserves.


Nick Miller: Well I can't say he wouldn't deserve such an honor, its not gonna be easy for him to win. First he has to face Scorpion, then either Black Bob or his IX partner Jordan Brooks, a tough night for either of these four men to win the King of SEF crown.


Greg Boone: Not for Mack, this is his night, no one else is winning, just you watch and find out.


Nick Miller: Well I will be and I won't bet against Mack, then again I won't bet against any of the guys. I sure as hell won't bet against anyone in the main event cause with a triple threat ya never know who's gonna walk out the winner.


Greg Boone: I can tell ya, it won't be Ares, he ain't keeping that title. Probably won't be Jordan either as it could end up being his third match, so with situation I'm calling it, Xanthus will win the World Title tonight, mark it down, he will be the new champ of SEF!


Nick Miller: Could happen, he is a former champ, but like I said, I ain't betting on anyone. Ares is one tough bastard who doesn't give up or stay down, so it'll be a fight for sure. Now lets get on with the show and find out who becomes king!




KoS Semi Finals Match
Jordan Brooks v. Black Bob


Bob started off aggressive, he tore into Jordan with uncontrollable rage battering him all over the ring. Jordan used his power to defend himself, but couldn't really get on the offense. Bob was just too intent on maiming the big man, so much though he would cost himself the match when on the outside he had Jordan reeling against the steel steps. Jordan managed to shove Bob away into the timekeepers table. He recovered and reached for Bob who swung around with the ring bell clocking Jordan in the head and laying him out. Bob grabbed a chair and smashed it two times over Jordan's head, blood spilling all over the floor, then security got Bob outta there as EMT's helped Jordan to the back.


Winner: Jordan Brooks via Disqualification @ 17:48




KoS Semi Finals Match
Scorpion v. Shane Mack w/Staci Sparx


Starting off with a standard tie up is how Mack and Scorpion clashed, some good wrestling from both, Mack seemed to be more in control, play more offense with Scorpion trying to keep up almost. He was pretty cocky though and well into the match Scorpion made him pay for his arrogance, well, just by putting Mack down, hurting his ego, not beating him. Staci would get on the apron causing the distraction to which Scorpion marched over and just kissed her, then shoved her to the floor. Mack caught him by surprise with a spear takedown and unloaded with punches. Mack was back in control from there and really got aggressive. After a while Staci distracted the ref and Mack sent Scorpion outside and into the guard rail, grabbed a chair and slammed him over the head. Mack got back in the ring and Staci hopped down, the ref looked to count out Scorpion and Mack was hping for it. He would beat the clock by a two count and get back in, but Mack came off the top rope with a leg drop across the back of his neck. He pulled up Scorpion whipping him to the ropes and hit Da Shows Ova falling on Scorpion for the pin to win it.

Singles Match
Sammy v. Julie


Originally to determine a new Diva Champ, but the match was made non title for some reason and ended up being just for pride. A good match it was too, from bell to bell Julie and Sammy showed the world why their two of the best divas around. Julie with a lil more experience seemed to be able and take control easier, but Sammy fought like a hellcat keeping up and going the distance. She would escape Julie's Dirty Drop and then come back strong and eventually get Julie up for the Sammy Slam. Julie managed to hop down to her feet and both women turned, Julie leaping up with a hard chick kick turning Sammy around. Before she fell Julie leaped up hooking her arms and rolling her backwards into a pin to get the win.


Winner: Julie via Pinfall @ 21:18


Afterwards both women stood up and hugged, then Sammy raised Julie's hand who gave Sammy praise for her effort.




KoS Finals Match
Jordan Brooks v. Shane Mack w/Staci Sparx


Jordan came to the ring bandaged and dazed, then Staci came out to Mack's music and Mack came from the crowd jumping Jordan from behind with clubs to his head and would hit him with a ddt. Mack was all over him from there just pounding on Jordan's head ripping the bandage and opening his cut back up. Mack kicked at him, stomped him, flew his body off the ropes at Jordan, all the time targeting that head keeping Jordan down and out of it. His power could not be a factor and Mack would get Staci to distract the ref long enough to use a chair on Jordan, then set him on the ropes and hit Da Shows Ova. He then pinned him and won the match becoming the King of SEF in 2008 earning the coveted crown not to mention the belt and trophy.

Main Event
Triple Threat Match
SEF World Heavyweight Championship
Xanthus v. Jordan Brooks v. Ares(c)


Jordan stayed in the ring from the last match refusing to listen to EMT's, shove dthem away and waited for his World Title match. Xanthus would come out from the crowd jumping Jordan, but Ares would then come out going for X and unloading hell on him. Jordan kept away to rest, even rolled from the ring. Ares beat X all over the ring, damn near dominated him, but X didn't go down and would catch a low blow on Ares, turned things around and started beating Ares into a corner. Jordan got in and ended up hitting a spear on X. Ares rushed over clotheslining Jordan, then ripped up X looking for the Atom Bomb. X shoved Ares to Jordan who nailed a spinebuster on him. X hit a spinning kick on Jordan knocking him to the ropes, then tackled him to the floor and beat his head into the floor. X got a chair and smashed Jordan over the head, beat him down outside the ring making sure Jordan couldn't get up anymore. Ares got his own chair coming from behind and floored X with it, then stomped the hell out of him. Ares did a number on X out there, then got him on the table and got up with him delivering a piledriver to X through the table. Jordan managed to get up and kick Ares in the head, then rolled him in the ring and tried setting up for the Big Apple Bomb. Ares fought out and the two came to blows, Jordan wobbly from three matches and blood pouring from his head started to stagger a lot. Ares was in control and X came off the top rope for both men. Ares saw him and dodged away, Jordan going down on his face. X got him and got the Atom Bomb and pinned, Ares won and retained the title.


Winner: Ares via Pinfall @ 27:53


After the match and Ares celebrating with some beer we saw Mack come out dropping Ares with the IC Title to his head. Mack put the boots to him and Staci came out with his King of SEF gold. Mack took his title in one hand, wore his crown and held his trophy in the other hand. Staci grabbed the World Title and laid it on his shoulder, Mack stood there like a king and well he was in a way and then SEF went off the air.
