Christmas Night, 2011. A pele kick to the skull from Derek Helms was delivered onto Ashley Pearson. Derek picked her up and nailed the Concussion ontop of a cookie sheet in the middle of the ring. The referee counted the pinfall and Derek Helms was named the winner, defeating his ex wife, doing exactly what he said he would. What happened next would shock the thousands of fans jam packed into the Yum Center. As security and referee's were escorting a broken Ashley Pearson up the ramp, Derek chases after her and the two share a kiss! Yes, a kiss. Derek then took her in his arms and carried her backstage. A lot of Helms' fans, as well as Pearson's fans, are looking for answers to just what the hell happened that Christmas night. Greg Boone decided to conduct an SEF exclusive interview with Ashley Pearson & Derek Helms from Derek Helms' home in Chicago, Illinois.

So let's just dive right into this. Just what the hell happened that Christmas night? There was so much hatred between you guys going into that match and it ends with a makeout session? What the fuck.

Derek Helms
There we were. Christmas night in Lousiville Kentucky. We went out there and we gave them one the best matches of fuckin' evening. We beat the hell out of each other, as you would expect out of a hardcore match, and I drove her head into the cookie sheet and it felt fucking amazing! I knew the moment I hooked the leg that it was all over...and it was. The ref raised my arm letting the crowd know I had won and that moment was easily one of the happiest moments in my life.

Greg Boone
That doesn't exactly answer my question. If you loved beating the hell out of her, why did you chase after her when she was being helped out by security and lay a big one on her?

Derek Helms
I saw her being helped out by security and a lot of things were going through my mind. On one hand, I was glad that I kicked her ass and she deserved every bit of it. However, on the other hand, this bitch gave me a run for my money. Consider it a bit of a turn on. I like it when a woman can be rough, and Ashley is one tough bitch. At that moment, I knew what I had to do. So I chased after her, gave her a kiss, we fucked in the locker room afterwards, and now we're back together.

Greg Boone raises an eyebrow at that statement and you can tell he is now feeling uncomfortable. Desperate to continue with the interview and get it over with, he directs his attention to Ashley.

Greg Boone
Okay, what about you Ashley? What was going through your mind when he planted a kiss on you after damn near ending your career?

Ashley Pearson
Honestly, I was shocked at first too. I mean, this is the guy that, in your words, damn near ended my career! But, as soon as he kissed me, I was reminded of why I love this man. There are people out there who don't understand the type of relationship Derek and I have, and probably never will. We love beating the hell out of each other. It gives us a rush like fuckin' other!

Greg Boone
Interesting. Well, congratulations I guess on getting back together. Anywho, you guys have a match coming up at Evolution 48 where you two will be facing the team of J.G Brooks and Rick Reynolds. Ashley, you teamed with J.G Brooks a while back and have seen his stuff. Are you nervous?

Ashley Pearson
Well, if I remember correctly, Brooks was the one who lost the match not being able to kick out from The Resurrection. But aside from that, there is a reason he is the Franchise Champion. There is a reason he is a former World Champion. He's the real deal and can really go in the ring and it'll be nice to wrestle him rather than just have him as a tag partner. Rick Reynolds on the other hand, or Scorpion, or whatever he calls himself is someone I have worked alongside with back in my first run with the company, and just like Brooks he is a tough guy. But I'm confident that Derek and I can beat these guys.

Derek Helms
And if I can say something about these guys. For too damn long we have seen these Impact X guys at the top. I'm back to establish a new face of SEF and you're fucking lookin' at it. Far too long we have seen these Imapct X guys hog the spotlight. It's time for some new blood in this company, and Ashley and I are the perfect contenders.

Greg Boone
Derek, you have faced J.G Brooks in the ring before at Evoultion 47, but you have had a number of encounters with Rick Reynolds, formerly known by "Scorpion". You guys have had many epic battles back in 2004 for the World Title and can we expect the same epic battle when you step into the ring with Rick Reynolds come Evoultion 48?

Derek Helms
You're absolutely right, those were epic battles. And you can expect another epic battle to take place at Evolution. Sure, there were some battles against Rick that I lost, but the difference between that match and this one is that the team of Derek Helms and Ashley Pearson are going to be the victors. It's time for some change in SEF, and you can bet that Ashley and I are the ones that are going to make that happen! I'm going out for a smoke.

Derek gets up some the couch and with a cigarette in hand and walks out the front door leaving Ashley and Greg in the room.

Ashley grins and gets up from the couch and walks outside joining her boyfriend in a smoke as the scene fades to black.
