Cody isn't about to take this, and it isn't a love triangle at all. He is the one that gave Shane permission to be with Brandy again, and he shakes his head. He never once brought up Y2J at all, but since this was he thought he would say this.

Cody Jericho

Corez I am not even involved in a love triangle not when I gave Shane permission to be with Brandy again, and even though I am the one married to her I knew she still loved him. Now I don't know what in the world your talking about cause no one came up to me, and asked to help me at all. Not once did I bring up Y2J, but since you did that was a long time ago. Shane is my brother, but we never said who we was related to. It could be that we just have the same last name as him, and that is it. I actually enjoy being this way, and I never said I knew you all I said was I don't trust anyone here unless they are my family and friends anyone else I just can't trust as I have my reasons that I don't have to explain to anyone.

Cody takes a deep breath, and talks again.

I don't need to know what the Corez Effect is, but your about to witness what a Jericho Takedown is though. I can't be the nice brother, and that just isn't me. I am just being who I am, and if no one can accept me for that then that is fine cause I am never gonna change who I am. I tried being a good guy back then, and that only held me back. Now that i am back being myself, and I get to do what I love doing that is wrestling. In this match you will find ou that I am not someone that will be stopped that easily. You don't know everything about me, so don't act like you do. Shane knows me way better then you, and he knows how I really am. I attacked Shane for a reason only I know about, so he wants to put our tag team on hold for the time being that is alright with me still I will prove that i am not a joke at all. All of you are wrong about Shane and me, and if I wanted you to know more about me I would tell you since I don't you will never know.
Cody smirks, and walks off, and the show fades to black.

Do you even understand what you say Cody?

Those words are uttered from the darkness of the rafters of the arena where Corez sits peering out with his dark eyes. His figure seen slightly, the World Title on his lap seen a little and Corez says.

You and Shane share a wife, there are three of you involved in a relationship, that means your involved in a love triangle. It was never implied to be a bad thing, it was simply spoken as what is, so maybe you have mixed feelings about it!? And since returning you may not have mentioned Y2J, but it doesn't mean you haven't and it wasn't mentioning him, but actually hiring an actor to portray him as your brother that was what you did. Never said anyone came up and offered to help you, however they did Cody, management offered you help as they do for everyone who comes in here. Guys like me don't need it though, so we go out to help others like you, I can help you, but if you don't want it, then tonight you only get to taste defeat!

A pause for a few seconds, then Corez speaks again.

The Jericho Takedown you say, nice Cody, very nice indeed! Its not that no one can accept, they just don't care because you bring nothing to the table, you offer nothing new, you are meaningless to this sport! The fans don't care when you walk out and just go use the bathroom. Not that the fans matter on how good you can be, but that is the thing Shane, or Cody, oh yea, you're the so called mean one, the jerk! Your not a jerk, you're a fake and you can't wrestle, so you don't belong in the ring because you refuse to learn!

Corez standing up now lays the title on a shoulder stretching his arms in a crucifix pose. He relaxes his arms saying.

There is no acting from me Cody, there is nothing you can say or do towards me that will change what you have coming to you tonight. Your brother Shane is of no concern for its you and I one on one, so kick his ass or team with him, I don't care. I have said nothing wrong to or about you Cody, not about the so called Jericho Army. You are in a world you do not belong in and after tonight you may wish you never, ever stepped foot in SEF again! Claim what you like, but the proof is in your actions and you have shown nothing except that you can whine and cry about a made up family. You speak of trust, but trust is earned you insignificant fool. You must make the effort to learn and get better or be subject to The Corez Effect over and over and what has become known as the World Heavyweight Champion!

And now he turns walking the rafters further into the darkness disappearing totally from sight.

Cody rolled his eyes, and he isn't a fake either. He just isn't a nice person, and he knew no one would actually help him at all. He can insult his brother cause that is his right, but he talks again.

Cody Jericho

You can say whatever you want, but you think you can just say I was giving help please I am not talking about opportunities at all, but I know no one will actually come up to me and actually train me right there is a difference. The past don't even matter now, and I am in the right place as I worked hard to get where I am today. I am not a fake at all, but I do what I have to get by. I don't need to bring anything to the table, and it isn't like anyone will care anywhere like I need someone to cheer for me cause I don't. You are far from the truth about me, and I don't need advice from someone like you. I know I can wrestle, and I did graduate from wrestling school except the one that did the trainning didn't do a great job as it isn't my fault. I have agenda of my own that I don't have to tell anyone about, and you can keep saying people want to help me but  your wrong. You want to keep me down, but I also learned that talk is cheap as I let my actions speak for me.

Cody wasn't gonna take this from Corez at all, and he isn't just being himself as he talks again.

That will never happen I will still be here when the match is over, so shut your big mouth. Your only fueling my fire, and trust can also be broken as well. You see I don't need to be something I am not, and you will find that your words don't work on me at all I just tell it like it is don't like it tough.

Cody walks off, and the scene fades out.

You have no clue how to tell it like it is Cody for you have never done anything of the sort you Marijuana Mack wanna be for Mack is the one who did that for the past two years! You are a fake, poser wrestler who even admits you weren't trained well and needs help, but remains stuck in family drama using a name that isn't even your own! Your going nowhere is the only true thing you said, but Cody, I am not going away as well, I am remaining World Heavyweight Champion and headlining Wrestle X! What are you doing kid?
