[Tadakatsu (忠勝)]

War starts off by playing the music, featured by Disturbed, the song Another Way to Die as the warriors of SEF's past and present show on the titantron for all to see before ending with the word WAR engulfed in flames. The show opens with it's pyro to excite the fans to another promising show; the two commentators saying their opening piece as the show is now underway. One of then opening scenes opens as the camera seems to look around, representing a first-person point of view as the sight looks around before looking to the ground to show a trail of cherry blossoms from the entrance of the building to an unknown location around the corner. The camera follows the trail to find the source, even though the fans of SEF already have an idea of what they will find at the end of this little game.

..::Janitor::..
Aw jeez! Really? REALLY?

The camera turns to show one of SEF's janitor looking down at the cherry blossoms as he grumbles while sweeping them into a dustpan.

..::Janitor::..
I swear to God, if I have to put up with this every week.

The camera turns and continues to follow the trail, now trying to keep ahead of the janitor before he erases any evidence. The camera turns the corner and continues on down the path of pink. It turns one more corner and there it leads to the curtain that separates the back from the fans and the live show. It would seem that the man at the end of the blossoms is starting off the show. The camera fades to black, with the dull sound of some fans cheering.

"Ren" by Sakura Sakura plays over the PA system, the gentle hum of music sending the message of the arrival; followed by the darkening of the area as fans of SEF begin a small cheer for the appearance of a new talent of SEF, just two weeks in and he has defeated the SEF rookie, quickly followed by an SEF Veteran. Handmaidens walk out in traditional kimonos, baskets handing from one arm each as the seem to avoid the spotlight, reserving it for their Lord as they drop cherry blossoms into the light and then slowly back step out of the light. The tune of Ren picks up in beat and tempo as the curtain parts. The silhouette of Tadakatsu Mōri is seen thanks to the backlight of the curtain. Before everyones eyes, Tadakatsu steps into the light, his feet almost weightlessly stepping across the cherry pedals, which is an impressive feat for being clad in samurai armor. Tadakatsu slowly looks from side to side as if scanning his surroundings, his hands casually holding the honorable katana in place at his side as he lowers his head, his eyes focused on the ring while he starts his walk down, his beautiful handmaidens stepping in unison with the Japanese Lord as they toss blossoms one pace in front of him. Tadakatsu makes it to the end of the ramp before stopping completely. Slowly the man turns around as he stares up the ramp towards the backstage. Ren fading out as the lights gently illuminate the arena.

The challenge has been set. For both warriors.

Tadakatsu speaks as his voice lifts over the PA system even though he is not holding a microphone, his hands still placed on his katana as his handmaidens stay at his side, their heads remain in a slight bow of respect towards their Lord.

How is he...talking right now? Do you hear that?

He has something attached to the opening of his mask. I noticed it instantly.

Closer inspect shows that attacked to his mumpo, right at the small opening around the opened fangs of the demonic design is a small device that is wirelessly connected to to the switchboard which transfers it over to the PA system.

..::Tadakatsu::..
One warrior must prove his worth to fight among the ring of honor by showing up and defeating me. I am the one that stands between a tragic end and a possible prosperous future. It would seem that the powers that be, are not happy with one of their warriors performances and now draws you a most unfortunate fate. There has not been an enemy yet I have not backed down from and if you desire to earn the respect from the powers that be and prove your valor to all who observe the honorary gauntlet; then you will show yourself and battle me. I assure you of one thing, win or lose, you will earn my respect if you just show your courage and show up.

The fans cheer slightly as one fan almost manages to reach out and touch one of his handmaidens as she quickly notices and takes a subtle step away, besides that she gives no other reaction. No glare, no words, just remains in her stance as the Warlord speaks.

However, should you show up. Know one thing: You will need to bring more than your smartphone to beat a true Warlord from the Land of the Rising Sun. You have shown your hand once and I have seen it as nothing short of disrespectful to your opponents. Even though Matt Matlock did not seem to be bolstered by my challenge. His efforts from his war torn past did not go unnoticed to me. Perhaps his Era as the Crownless King is over, maybe he has another fire deep inside waiting to burst out. Only time will tell. But you, you mock a warriors legacy and for that, I shall not let you prevail on this night.

Tadakatsu slowly draws his sword, the metallic sound actually ringing over the PA system as the fans cheer at the sight of the expertly tempered craftsmanship of the folded steel katana, still sharp after hundreds of years. Tadakatsu lifts the blade in front of him as the blunt edge rests against his kabuto where his forehead would be.

..::Tadakatsu::..
I pray...that you show yourself and answer for your disrespect. I pray that you show the courage of a man...not of a child. I pray....that you do not disrespect me and the honor of the fight by not showing.

Tadakatsu suddenly lashes out as the sword scraps across the mats of the ground in front of the ring. The mat cuts perfectly as Tadakatsu extends his arm to the side to make the perfect line before calmly positioning the katana above the sheath and slides the sword back into spot, putting his blade to sleep once more.

Show you are a warrior...and cross this line. Face me...face your sins. Prove to me and to everyone that inside that chest beats the heart of a warrior.

"Ren: starts to play against as his handmaidens go back to his side and Tadakatsu walks towards the stairs at the side of the ring, following the trail of cherry blossoms before entering the ring. Tadakatsu does not even get out of his armor yet as he walks to the center and raises one hand, his index and middle finger pointed up with his thumb holding his ring and pinky finger in place, bowing his own head in wait as he places the index and middle finger at the middle of his forehead, his other hand cups the bottom of his hand as he now stands there and waits...in silent meditation. Hoping his adversary has the courage to show, not wanting to win by a no show.

Tadakatsu, so focused...intense..now waiting for Eric Callahan to show. What is he doing in the middle of the ring?

Meditating it would seem. Those people have those 'deep spiritual' things they are serious about. I think it just leaves him open to attack.

..::Nick::..
The man is armed with a freaking sword and he is in armor. I don't think anyone is going to attack him right now.

..::Ric::..
Eh, [shrugs] Let's just see if Eric Callahan even has the balls to show. Even if he does, I think this Tadakatsu guy will tear him apart. Then just fire his ass anyways.
