Mick Foley Comments On Nancy Benoit’s Legacy And Possible Hall Of Fame Induction

On the most recent Foley Is Pod episode, Mick Foley commented on Nancy Benoit's legacy in the wrestling industry and how he believes she should be recognized in the WWE Hall of Fame (per Wrestling Inc).

"The three different runs she's had, she's really deserving of more recognition. The holy grail is the WWE Hall of Fame. I think eventually it's going to happen, I don't know if it's going to happen in the next few years though," Foley said. Benoit's murder by her husband Chris in 2007 shocked the entire community, who already knew her for her work with WCW and ECW. Foley also addressed Chyna's Hall of Fame induction and allowed that both individuals had tragic conclusions and there would be corresponding optics surrounding the induction of either.

"I think you want to give those a few years you know? It's tough when you induct someone posthumously and the deaths are not by natural causes. I think you gotta space them out a little bit."
