Four days.

Four days is all that Phoenix Winterborn held onto the SEF World Championship before losing it to Julie at Wrestle X. Now granted, that was one HELL of a match that (thankfully) didn't have much in the way of malarkey, but still. Four days. Phoenix Winterborn was a man on a mission now. His goal? To regain the SEF World Championship. A small detour was in his way however, as this week on WAR, Phoenix was teaming up with Bill Roberts and Shane Mack to take on the team of Julie, Rob Rush, and Jake Voss in a tornado-style 6-person tag match. As WAR was getting ready to kick off, we see Phoenix Winterborn within the hallway of the Spokane Arena with Kim Pain by his side. The camera was watching him. He tried to push it away, but whomever was in charge of the camera was persistent, Phoenix would have to give him that.

"Can I help you?"

Cameraman: Well, it's just that...no one has heard from you since losing the SEF World Championship. Can you give us some sort of insight as to what happened?

Phoenix sighed, and leaned in the doorway of the locker room. Kim stepped inside to wait for him as he turned to the camera.

"What else can really be said? Julie and I took each other to the limit in a match that went just over 40 minutes. In the end, I came up short. Nothin much to it. But, everyone can rest assured that I will be earning another shot at the SEF Championship, and when I do? I will not be some transitional champion. Not again. I'm just too good to be regulated to something like that."

Cameraman: Well, what about this tornado tag team match you have tonight on WAR?

"Well...once again, I get to team with Mack, and this time we have Bill Roberts on our side. The same man I beat upon my return to SEF. I just hope he doesn't hold that against me in this match. Julie and her team of lackeys need to be watching their backs though. Because...I don't know about Mack or Roberts, but I'm not exactly in the best of moods still after losing to Julie at Wrestle X. Mark my words, I will get back in the championship hunt. Sooner rather than later..."

With that, Phoenix popped himself up off the doorjam, and headed into the locker room area to get ready for the evening's events...
