Extreme 118 {9/18/06}

So we open up inside the First Union Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We hear "Posthuman" play over the pa as our cameras roam around the arena capturing the cheering fans and capturing their signs. Some say "Mesa Needs To Go" or a message like it while a couple read something like "Mesa = Ratings". We see more signs as well like "We Need D-Mack Back" or "McMoney Sucks". We keep roaming around the arena as our commentators are heard from ringside.

Nick Miller: Hello everyone and welcome to Monday Night Extreme! I am Nick Miller here with Sly and we got a good show for ya tonight. Our main event sees Xanthus and McMoney fight in a ladder match with the SEF Title on the line just six days before Extreme Warfare!

Sly: Yea and it seems to me we may get a new champ going into this Sunday!

Nick Miller: That could happen, Xanthus is good, but messed up. His girl Cassie defends her title against Patricia and we also see the end of the Franchise Title tonight.

Sly: Yea, a title that has been used too much, hardcore, xtreme, brass knuckles, franchise, many names, all the same title, its done, we need a more important title like the Intercontinental Title.

Nick Miller: Its your call. Winner of that match is in a match for the IC Title as is the winner between Crash and Chris Morris. Velzian faces Mesa in a hardcore match and here in Philly, that outta be crazy. Chris Orton and Carlos Spencer go one on one as well.

Sly: I can't wait to see Mesa destroy Velzian, that man is gonna be huge!

Nick Miller: He just may be, especially after last week when he returned and beat McMoney and Viper. We'll see what happens, so lets get to the show.





Before our first match can begin we find Frank E. Dangerously walking out to no music and as he comes down the ramp the lights suddenly go completely out and we soon hear "Bad Religion" by Godsmack play, boos begin to fill the arena and a few minutes later the lights come back on. We find Mesa standing in the center of the ring in his ring gear and arabian headgear, hands at his sides and Frank E standing next to him with a mic in hand and grin on his face.

F.E.D.: So it seems you people here are not quite as down on Mesa, maybe you respect how great he was in this ring last week, but hey, who knows and who cares. Last week, New York City, those miserable idiots could not grasp reality and listen, most of you sound the same, but I see and hear the select few with some brains.

Loud booing from the majority of the crowd now.

F.E.D.: I'm not out here to run down any of you morons or give some speech spewing the facts behind Mesa, no, I am out here because Mesa wants to challenge anyone in the back to a match this Sunday at Extreme Warfare! C'mon, anyone with a set of balls, come out here, accept the challenge for a Barbed Wire match, anyone!

The crowd is mixed with cheers and boos as they like the match and hope someone good comes out. A few minutes pass and no one comes out.

F.E.D.: No one wants to fight Mesa, not one of you have any balls? This f-

Sly: Whoa, hold up Frankie!

We see has a mic and is stood up now. He now walks to the ring and rolls in, then stands up.

Sly: I have an idea for who Mesa can face and let me tell you why. You offered McMoney the services of Destruction this Sunday, you miserable lil son of a bitch! I don't take kindly to that act and this Sunday Mesa will gethis barbed wire match and he will face two men handicapped style. We have two matches tonight where the winners go on to fight for the IC Title, so the losers won't have a spot at the pay per view, but they will now. Whatever two men don't advance to the IC Title match, they will face Mesa and he must pin them both to win!

F.E.D.: Really, all that because I offered McMoney the help of Destruction, well then Sly, I say to you, thank you!

"Bad Religion" hits and Mesa gets in Sly's face now, he hold sup two fingers, then lowers each and raises his thumb to his throat doing the cutthroat sign before turning and leaving the ring. Frank stays in the ring and steps closer to Sly now.

F.E.D.: All of this or that aside, I have a request to make you just might like.

Sly: Try me!

F.E.D.: I know you don't like commentating do you?

Sly: No I don't, i got better things to do.

F.E.D.: Well then let me take back over my spot. I never gave it up to begin with, I simply had a huge plan to unfold, that being Mesa, so let me do it again, but only Extreme and the pay per view's.

Sly: All aside huh, fine Frankie, you can have that spot back, but as far as what you did, I won't forget!

Frank just smiles and drops the mic, gets out of the ring and heads over to Nick as Sly exits the ring heading up the ramp. Frank has a headset on and sits down now.

Nick Miller: Well what do ya know, back with me is Frankie and it seems your client Mesa has a hell of a challenge Sunday.

F.E.D.: Please kid, Mesa will destroy any two men in SEF paired against him, he could take out an entire army if he had to!

It was a decent match, Chris got in some offense, but after a few suplexes in succession by Crash he quickly dominated the match. Crash would then wear down Chris' neck with clubs and a front facelock before applying Falling Stars making him tap.





Hardcore Match
Andrew Velzian w/Patricia Stratigias
VS
Mesa w/ Frank E. Dangerously

Winner: Mesa via Submission

As soon as the lights come back on we see Mesa pounding Velzian into a corner and Velzian would never comeback in the match. Mesa would bloody him up, send him through a table courtesy of a frog splash, and just viciously beat him. Patricia would try to get involved and distract Mesa and we would see Xanthus hit the ring and nail Velzian with the Ghetto Busta, then jump up and do a crotch chop before running to the back. After Mesa shoved Patricia down he would finish off Velzian with the Arabian Areial Assault, then lock him in a camel clutch making him tap.

Remedy w/Michael McMoney

Double Countout/Draw

Jersey was too busy in the back on her back and knees with half the lock room while Remedy was getting sodomized by McMoney.

Winner: Darkness via Pinfall

This match was pretty good, some good back and forth action between the two men. Darkness would show more dominance, but Neo qould comeback when you think he would be gone. He nailed a few high risks and one was his Wrecking Ball to Darkness on the floor, but Darkness moved out of the way. from there Darkness had the advantage and slowly picked apart Neo before putting him away with Darkest Dreams.





Backstage

We see Velzian come into the IX room bandaged up and he finds McMoney alone. The two talk and Velzian discusses his frustrations over his loss and his hunt against Cassie, he seems really let down over it all. McMoney just nods and smiles, responds to him, but acts as if he has no care for this.

Winner: Cassie Michaels vis Pinfall

Cassie took it to Patricia early on and never let up. She went high and wrestled good, Patricia tried to comeback and got in some moves even, but Cassie would end up putting her away with the 450 splash and a pin. Xanthus and Velzian got into it, but X laid out Velzian.





Backstage

We find Crash walking down the hall drinking some water when he comes face to face with Cypress who just grins at him. Crash eyes him with a hard look, then suddenly he is launched forward when Darkness slams him in the back with a steel chair. Crash falls to his knees and Darkness has his scythe now slicing it into Crash's back. Cypress smiles and Darkness looks to slice Crash's throat when security comes runnig down the hall. Darkness and Cypress book it leaving Crash hurting.

Winner: Chris Orton via Pinfall

It was a good match, nice one with some stuff from both men, Carlos pulling it out, but Orton just seemed to gave his number tonight and it was only a matter of time before we saw the CKO and the win for Orton.





Backstage

We find McMoney leaning against a doorway looking into a locker room talking to someone behind the door, but we can't see. He has a smirk on his face and we can hear their talking about how Xanthus is gonna get his tonight.

Winner: Michael McMoney

The match lived up to its main event slot as both men fought tooth and nail taking themselves and each other to the limit. Xanthus pulled high risk after high risk and was truly the quicker of the two. McMoney used the ladder to his advantage as well as his sledgehammer, both men would bleed profously in this one. When it appearred Xanthus was on the verge of winning we saw Velzian run in, but he quickly got laid out on the floor and Xanthus looked up at the belt, the ladder set up, then he grins at McMoney walks over to the ropes staring at Sly. He raises both hands flipping him off as McMoney gets up and heads up the ladder now, Xanthus still eyeing Sly who is pissed now shouting to X to stop McMoney. He doesn't and McMoney gets the belt, then moves back to the mat after being announced the winner. We see Velzian come in the ring now looking confused and looks to get more of X when McMoney bashes him in the head with the title, then Xanthus drops him with the Ghetto Busta. We see Carlos Spencer run in as Remedy gets in the ring and the four stand together as "X" plays and they do crotch chops at Sly. We soon see the Hardcore Hellraisers come charging to the ring and collide with IX, Chris Orton hits the ring behind them. Neo was sent out by a double back body to the floor from Carlos and McMoney, then Carlos and Bubba brawl while Xanthus and Crash meet. McMoney comes to blows with Orton, but Remedy helps him with a low blow. We see Troy Storms come out now and Orton is down, so he goes for McMoney who rolls outta the ring with Remedy and his title. Carlos and Xanthus end up tossed out and they make it up the ramp with McMoney as the show comes to an end.
