Evolution 35 {12/19/03}

The shot comes alive with Paranoid playing and pyro shooting off inside the Veteran's Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The camera moves about the arena capturing the fans waving their hands and signs in the air. After a few minutes it drops down to Joey Styles and Joel Gertner at ringside who are sitting at the commentators table, fans jumping around behind them.

Styles: Hey there people. This is SEF Evolution. Kick ass card lined up tonight, as always

Gertner: Yeah, we gonna see the debut of Matt on a Mission tonight. Matt has two matches as well. He & Fortune gotta face Viper, and then he has to team with Emily to take on Strife & Cassie.

Styles: Some XCW vs SEF diva action tonight. Mya James is gonna take on Gorbie, and Trash is gonna take on Patricia. 

Gertner: Main event looks kickin to. Ten man hardcore battle royal. Should be something.

Styles: Yeah, but to start off we have an interesting match made by Matt last week. It's gonna be Ashley Pearson against the debuting John Cena. Anyway, let's get this show on the road.





Singles Match
John Cena vs. Ashley Pearson w/Dustin Gabriell

Word Life hits the speakers as Cena comes out, making his SEF debut. He puts his fists together, and then goes down to the ring. Dirrty hits, and Ashley comes out alongside Dustin. She kisses him, but then Dustin goes to the back. Ashley runs down and slides in the ring but Cena starts to stomp on her. He picks her up and slams her to the mat. He then puts her in a headlock. He can't keep it on for very long, as Ashley manages to get to the ropes. Cena lets go and shouts at the ref. Ashley then goes for a roll-up. 1...2..kickout! They both get up and Ashley slaps Cena across the face. She punches him a few times, and sends him to the ropes. She dropkicks him and then goes for a cover. 1...2...kickout! She goes for a DDT next, but Cena counters into a Northern Light Suplex. He runs off the ropes and hits a leg drop. A cover. 1...2...kickout! Cena doesn't look happy, and kicks Ashley in the ribs. She rolls out of the ring as Cena follows. He goes to pick her up, but she drop-toe-holds him onto the steel steps. She then rams his head on the steps several times. She then gets in the ring and climbs the turnbuckle. She jumps off looking for a hurricanrana, but Cena manages to reverse it and hit a massive powerbomb on the floor. Ashley rolls in pain and then Cena rolls her back in the ring. He covers. 1...2..kickout! Cena can't believe it, and his frustration shows. He picks up Ashley and whips her to the corner. He puts her on top, looking for a superplex. Ashley counters this by punching Cena a few times and hitting a Tornado DDT. She then goes for another cover. 1...2...kickout again! She gets up, but then Cena kicks her in the gut. Then, the FU out of nowhere! He covers.....1....2....3!

J-Lo: Ladies and gentleman, your winner by pinfall...John Cena!!

Word Life hits as Cena raises his arms in victory.

Gertner: Shit. That was some match. Good effort on Ashley's part.

Styles: Yeah, I think even Cena was surprised by that. But that FU came out of nowhere. 

Gertner: I see big things for Cena coming up.





Handicapped Match
SEF Xtreme Championship
Fortune & Matt Matlock w/Emily vs. Viper[c]

Escape From Hellview hits and out walk Fortune and Matt along with Emily who is on Matt's arm. They get down to the ring and Emily sticks ringside while Matt and Fortune await their opponent. Then, Superman hits and Viper comes walking out, title around his waist and he walks on down to the ring, stands at ringside and stares down Matt and Fortune. He soon drops his title and slides in the ring. Matt runs at him, but is dropped with a clothesline, then Fortune looks for a dropkick, but misses when Viper sidesteps him. Matt jumps back up and charges Viper, but gets thrown shoulder first into the corner, then is tossed to the outside. Fortune gets up and clubs Viper in the back, then whips him into the ropes and looks for a clothesline, but is shoulder blocked down by Viper. Viper picks up Fortune and give shim a suplex, then lifts him back up and runs him across the ring, tossing him out of the ring and into the guard rail. Viper jumps out of the ring and starts pounding on Fortune with punches when Matt with a chair in hand comes behind him and slams Viper across the back. He then rams Viper backfirst into the steps and starts pulling out more weapons. He takes a trash can lid and looks to nail Viper, but instead gets a drop toe hold into the steps bouncing is face off them. Viper picks up the trash can lid and slams Fortune over the head, then clotheslines over the guard rail into the crowd. Viper picks up a singapore cane tunrs to Matt hitting him in the head, then nails him in the ribs and chokes him a bit. Viper turns his attention back to Fortune who is on his feet now, so he hops the rail and starts exchanging punches with him. Viper gets the better of it and sends Fortune crashing into rail further back in the crowd. He then looks for a punch, but Fortune kicks him in the buts, then whips down an exit to the back and into a wall. Fortune comes running behind and does a double axe handle smash to his back, then sends him through the curtian and into the backstage area. He grabs a metal pipe and swings it, but Viper moves away and trips up Fortune, then smashes his face on a cart. He lifts up Fortune in a press slam and drops him on the cart, then rolls him on down the hall and out to the loading dock. As he looks to roll Fortune off the dock, Matt comes running behind him and slams Viper in the back with a hard forearm shot, then looks to toss him off the dock, but gets elbowed in the gut and given a ddt on the concrete. Fortune gets off the cart and kicks Viper in the gut, then hooks his arms, but gets backdropped and ends up crashing down over the edge of the dock which is about five feet, but the concrete makes it worse. As Fortune lay in pain, Viper walks off somewhere and disappears. Matt gets to his feet and looks down to Fortune, then looks around for Viper, but can't find him. Matt jumps down and checks out Fortune when from outside comes a forklift driving in with several pallets on it. Viper is driving it and heads straight for Matt and Fortune. Matt jumps away, but Viper ends up dropping the pallets down, keeping Fortune caught up. He then hops out of the forklift and Matt comes running over, but Viper pulls out a sledgehammer just in time and nails Matt in the gut. As Matt is keeled over, Viper rams him in the head, then lifts him up, hooks his arms and gives him The Unforgiven and pins...........1.........2........3!

J-Lo: Here is your winner by pinfall and still SEF Xtreme Champion............................Viper!

Superman can be heard playing from inside the arena and the ref hands the title to Viper who just looks down to Matt and smirks before walking into the arena.

Styles: Wow, what a hell of a hardcore match thas was. For not claiming and hardcore masters, those guys did a great job.

Gertner: Sure did, they punished each other, but it was Viper who got the win, big victory for him beating two men.

Matt On A Mission
Host With Da Most: Chief Matt
Topic: Who's Better? Chief Matt, or Commishoner Cassie?

Matt is already in the ring, looking a little beat up from his earlier match with Viper. Emily is by his side, and he has the mic in hand.

Matt: Finally, I have a chance to do my show. Now, tonight's topic is..who is better? Me, or Cassie? I asked several superstars, and I got some varied opinions. So let's take a loo---

Matt is cut off when Don't Tread On Me suddenly hits the speakers. Matt has a shocked look on his face, and drops the mic. He gets ready for Jackal's arrival. Jackal comes from the crowd and Emily runs out of the ring. Jackal has a plate of glass in his hand, and slides into the ring.

Matt doesn't notice. The music fades, and then he starts to turn around. SMASH!! Jackal breaks the glass over Matt's head. He falls to the ground in a heap. Jackal raises his arms, and then heads backstage.

Styles: Goddamn. Show got interrupted again.

Gertner: And what an interruption. Jackal just laid out Matt. Matt's gonna want some major payback for that.





Singles Match
Trash vs. Patricia Stratigias w/Spike Dudley

Both ladies are in the ring. Patricia spears Trash down to the ground. She picks her up and slams her to the mat. She stomps her a bit, and then goes to the top rope. She hits a leg drop and covers. 1...2...kickout! She picks up Trash again, and suplexes her. She then picks up Trash and throws her to the corner. She puts her on the top turnbuckle, and then hits Trash with a head scissors take down. Patricia covers for the 1...2....3!

J-Lo: Ladies and gentleman...your winner of this match by pinfall...Patricia Stratigas!

Fighter hits as Spike gets in the ring and raises Patricia's hand. They then leave together.

Styles: What a win for Patricia. She just dominated Trash.

Gertner: Yeah, stupid XCW bitch.





Intergender Tag Team Match
Matt Matlock & Emily vs. Strife & Cassie Michaels

Both teams are in the ring and starting the match is Emily and Cassie. Emily looks for a slap, but Cassie blocks it and starts nailing some elbows to Emily. She backs up Emily in the corner, then delivers soem chops and whips into the ropes where she kicks her in the stomach and hits a ddt. Cassie pins her, but Matt jumps in and breaks it up, then jumps out. Cassie gets mad and yells at him allowing Emily to get up and nails a spinning kick on her. She tries for a pin.........1.......2........kickout! Emily looks mad and tags in Matt who cuts off Cassie from Strife and starts toying with her. He ends up trying for a piledriver, but Cassie flips all the way up and brings him down in a hurracanrana. She then tags in Strife who flies in and starts pounding on Matt with hard fists. Strife picks up Matt and whips him into the ropes, then looks for a clothesline, but Matt drops down, pulls the rope down and Strife tumbles outside. Matt distracts the ref as Fortune runs out and nails Strife with a chair, then rolls him in the ring. Matt picks up Strife and nails the Orange Crush Pin.............1..........2.........3!

J-Lo: Here are your winners by pinfall.......................................Matt Matlock and Emily!

Born With Nothing, Die With Everything hits as Matt celebrates with Emily who does a few cartwheels. which actually makes fortune smile at her and definitely Matta well as Joel Gertner.

Gertner: Oh yea, the best part of match, what a show that was.

Styles: Oh please stop for once. The match was pretty good and hey, Matt pinned the World Champ.





Backstage

Bubba Ray is seen heading down the hall when from behind comes D-Von, chair in hand and smacks it across Bubba's back. He then starts stomping him and soon, Father James comes up and helps him, picking up Bubba and the two running him into a table of food. They lift up Bubba and double suplex him into the table, then D-Von nails him in the head with the chair before they both walk off.

Styles: Damn, this doesn't look good for Bubba.

Gertner: I know, match will be down to only nine people probably.





Hardcore Rulz Battle Royal
Winner Faces Xtreme Champ on Carnage
Stephen Masterson vs. Matrix vs. Jorge Garcia vs. Circuit vs. Tiger vs. Rocketfire vs. Christopher Stone vs. D-Von Dudley

Eight of the men are in the ring due to Bubba being attacked earlier. Everyone awaits the arrival of The Jackal. His music hits, but there's no sign of him. The cameras go backstage, where we see Jackal bleeding on the ground. Chief Matt stands over him with a lead pipe in hand and a huge grin across his face. The camera goes back to the ring and the match starts. Weapons are in the ring and the XCW guys keep together and start working on Jorge, Matrix, and Chris. D-Von tackles Stephen and the two tangle in the corner. Right away, Circuit and Tiger end up eliminating Jorge, then starts working on Matrix as Rocketfire and Chris go back and forth with punches. D-Von has Stephen up and looks for a clothesline, but Stephen ducks and backdrops D-Von over the top rope to the outside. Chris looks to have Rocketfire out when Stephen comes running over and elminates both men. He then picks up a singapore cane and catches his breath in the corner. Circuit is beating on Matrix with a trash can when Tiger comes over to Stephen looking for a splash in the corner. Stephen moves and starts laying shots with his cane, then cracks him right in the head and tosses him over the top. Circuit soon eliminates Matrix, then turns around and recieves a shot to the head with the cane. He is then placed on the top rope, then Stephen slams him in the head with a stop sign, climbs up and gives him Provoked. Stephen picks up Circuit and throws him over the top and wins the match,

J-Lo: Here is your winner....................Stephen Masterson!

Trippin hits as Stephen raises up the cane in his hand and looks on with a straight face ready to fight again.

Styles: That was a pretty impressive by Stephen, the guy definitely showed he wants this shot.

Gertner: Who wouldn't, a chance at a title in SEF which would give him a ticker to the X-Cage, plus he gets to fight arguably the greatest athlete ever.

Styles: True, Viper is one of SEF's top guys. Stephen looks good, so the match should be as well, but thats all tonight, see you Tuesday.
