Leaning back in a metal chair, the Westsiders Edge stretches his arms and legs loosening up, then slumps back casually. His arms fall to his sides hanging calmly and Torres just gazes to the floor in thought, his body ready, clad in his usual gear sporting white and black tonight. A knock on the door which is slightly ajar and Greg Boone walks in asking.

Mind spilling your thoughts again?

Torres looking up forming a smirk says.

Ask the right questions and I will, but don’t worry, I’ll take it easier on ya than those girls did earlier!

Greg moving in sits on a chair across from Torres saying.

Thanks, they apparently didn’t want to talk or don’t like me which I lean more towards usually. Anyways, tonight is the night you go into the SEF Rumble which is surrounded by the X-Cage also containing seven other individuals in your way to the World Title. I know you made it clear your winning, that you got the experience edge, but Derek Helms made it clear he is in it to win it as did Xanthus. Plus there is Tina who made a strong case and last week she was correct in saying it took two men to beat her, so my first question is. Can Tina be stopped by seven people or will it just take one Gangstas Edge to put her down?

Torres still smirking just shrugs and says.

Tina’s a tough chick like I said before and yea, she gave Corez a fight that ended in controversy, but I’ve beaten Corez and come Wrestle X I’ll beat him again unless he loses tonight. If he does, well, Mack, Reynolds, don’t matter cause beating either one would be great, so whoever meets me in the ring come April eighth in the Astrodome it’ll be the Westsiders Edge standing tall at the end of the night with my World Heavyweight Championship over my shoulder! As for Tina, she has her International Title to keep her in the headlines after she loses the rumble, so to the so called T & A, don’t cry too hard when I spank your ass. Then again she came into IX and hung with Mack, she may like that spanking, but what Tina won’t like is losing this rumble. She ain’t got a choice though cause my choice is to win at any and all costs…I will headline Wrestle X and win the World Heavyweight Championship!

Torres raising his hands to his legs still smirking calmly and Greg now says.

I guess that answers my question and Tina is gonna have her hands full if you and her end up one on one. What about Derek Helms, think he’s ready, think he’ll be the guy to stand out and take yours and everyone else’s dream away?

Torres shrugging again just smirks and says.

I think that when he doesn’t win the rumble and I do that after I become World Champ I will have to deal with his once again and who knows, I may not be able to fend him off for long. Derek is a hardcore wrestler and he fits in SEF, but so do I and so does everyone in that ring tonight, but its as I said, I got the edge cause the Westsiders Edge always does. There ain’t a soul alive today who can walk the line as casual as I and bring the fight as intense as anyone can imagine. I’ll be on my game tonight and Derek is one of the main reasons for that, he and a few others, but the main reason is it’s the rumble as I said last time we talked. I never lost focus of that World Title as I been looking to the rumble since the new year and when its all said and done tonight I will be looking to Wrestle X and the World Heavyweight Championship!

Torres remains calm and Greg now asks.

You think Xanthus is ok after getting crushed under that soda machine last week, think he may be covering an injury as we all know he’s had leg injuries in the past?!

Torres still smirking just says.

I think an injury better paralyze Xanthus in order to keep him out of the ring and injured or not, he’s dangerous. He may be more dangerous when injured because that man will go to any length and not just to win, but to prove he is more hardcore. I swear to god almighty or whatever is out there in the universe that the crazy ass kid we all know will die in that ring from pushing the limit like he does. But that makes him hardcore and extremely dangerous, however, he’s a danger to himself, a hazard to his own health, and tonight his health is in jeopardy. This match will be off the charts and all that hoopla, it will be awesome indeed, and at the end of the night the Westsiders edge will stand tall walking calmly to Wrestle X!

Greg nodding just asks.

So what about Chris Rogers now, the guy you tried to help to the Tag Titles, then turned on last Saturday, what if he makes sure you don’t win the rumble, what if he exacts sweet revenge tonight?

Torres grinning now just says.

What if, what if, what if monkeys flew from my ass and shit all over that pile of crap Chris Rogers?! Ya see Greg, Chris missed out on an opportunity and I made sure he realized that. I put myself out there to help him and he dropped the ball, so I dropped him and so now I get only one match to deal with. I could have done both, but why over exert myself to carry Chris to the Tag Titles when I can work my way through seven of SEF’s top picks to try and make it to Wrestle X!? Don’t answer that as the answer is one we all know, like the answer to who will win the SEF Rumble!?

Still grinning and Greg now answers the last question sarcastically.

Shane Jericho!?!

Torres chuckling just nods no calmly and Greg asks.

So you don’t think Shane Jericho can win the rumble?

Torres nodding no just says.

I think he stands a better chance of winning reality show of the week than winning a wrestling contest as hardcore as The SEF Rumble! I think Shane Jericho worries too goddamn much about his brother and that Brandy chick spinning on Cody’s dick while Billy trains them all to suck worse than he does! Shane Jericho won’t make it past me if we face off and he’ll be lucky to walk afterwards. All he’ll be feeling is the Gangstas Edge through the hole to elimination, hopefully from SEF for good!

A smug smirk on his face and Torres crossing his arms loosely over his chest while Greg says.

He’s got a long way to go, but a real underdog may be Ashley Pearson or even Jason Stratus as he upset Tina not to long ago for the International Title. Ashley did lose to Derek in their rivalry, but she held her own and as proven before to be a threat in big matches. Both her and Jason have talent and if they could push themselves hard enough maybe they could upset you!?

Torres still smirking just shrugs and says.

Yea, yea, that’s why you keep your eye on everyone, even Shane Jericho for the moment you slip up, you lose for a second can make the difference. Jason Stratus shined for two weeks and wore the belt well, but he’s got a long ways to go, miles and miles before he’ll even have a clue on how to beat me. Now perhaps I should have sought him out to form a team with and who knows, could be an idea as the kid is arrogant, perhaps an arrogant asshole!?! As for Ashley Pearson, another tough chick who will no doubt give me a hard fight if we meet, but whether its her, Tina, Derek Helms, Xanthus, Jason Stratus, Chris Rogers, or Shane Jericho, I will kick their fucking ass! I didn’t show up here in Detroit Michigan to kick it with ol’ friends as I can do that anytime. I didn’t show up here to lose this huge opportunity laying ahead of all of us. I came here tonight to make my stake for Wrestle X and make sure I headline the biggest show of the year and to do that I gotta win the SEF Rumble in the X-Cage and you and everyone better realize that Nick Torres is more ready than ever to do just that! This is my rumble, this is my road to Wrestle X and if ya don’t like that, then Kiss This!

Torres does a crotch chop, then lays his hands on his legs smirking at Greg who says.

Yea, your ready and I guess that’s a wrap as you delivered on that one, so I’m off, take care.

Greg offering a handshake and Torres accepting it shakes his hand, then Greg walks on out. Torres just zones out on the floor again and fade to black.
