(The Detroit river is calm tonight, albeit for the strong current running deep, it is a calm night here in the motor city as less than a hour away we'll be inside the WAR Arena. Right now we hear the thoughts of a man who has traveled back and forth to this city countless times, whether by bus or car, plane or even a train, Phoenix is risen on many stages in the motor city.)

"I used to shoot it up on this river literally with handguns when I was spending a lot of time on the beach around this state doing the same there, with ANA a good many times. We had a few camp outs, some good talks around the campfire, I learned a lot from the man, we pick each other's brains to no end. I do not like this main event match on WAR, although, I will go into it ready for a war indeed. J X C is as much a enemy as The Triad and Taylor Andrews, she may be the only one I can count on to be out for herself. Whether or not she shows up to fight or phones in, I don't know, the woman been down a different path and through some kinda hell. She also ain't me, so hopefully she gets her head in the game or stays out of my way because The Triad is the real threat standing between me and the universe. I will reclaim that prize once again, I will stand above everyone in professional wrestling as the greatest of all time. That moniker is one I never lost, but that Universal Championship being robbed from me is something I must get back. I will go to war with you Rick Reynolds, the Scorpion versus the Phoenix, Snake Eyes isn't soon enough. But WAR will suffice and the seeds of doubt will be planted for your demise on Sunday."
