Details on 9/1 IMPACT On AXS

Following the August 25 episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS, several matches have been made for the September 1, 2022 episode.

First, The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows will defend the IMPACT Tag Team Championship against Mike Bennett and Matt Taven of Honor No More. By virtue of his victory tonight, Karl Anderson has ensured that next week Maria Kanellis will be barred from ringside. Scott D'Amore is looking forward to The Good Brothers hopefully shutting up The OGK for good

Also taking place next week, Masha Slamovich will be taking on Deonna Purrazzo and per Gail Kim, the winner of that match will face Jordynne Grace at Bound for Glory.

It was also announced that Mickie James will be returning the next week's episode. She will be making an announcement of some kind. James had previously hinted at retirement on Twitter.
