(D-Mack sits at the bar of the Underground Arena surrounded by a crowd of people in here tonight for Friday Night WAR. Mack just sipping his whiskey while sporting his ring tights and boots with an ol' Ultimate Rebel shirt from SEFZone and a backwards black ballcap on his head holding his blonde hair back a bit. A clean shaven face with them baby blues shining bright revealing a ever so sarcastic smile on his face.)

 

X Phoenix, or Jake Voss!? It seems you don't care what they call you, but you are X Phoenix, XPX, or maybe that's the insider wrestling nerd in me that gets to be free cause no one holds me back!?! Now Phoenix, I don't hold anything against you, you did what you felt you had to do last Friday and that is fine, I am loving what you do. Hell, out of everything I have forgotten, I still remember you turning on me over a decade ago, but that is because you have come a long way. You're still a turncoat, but you turn on anyone with no remorse because its not really personal to you. You keep your personal life separate from this business, or at least you had until you returned. I saw your poker game with your buddies, cuddling up to your soon to be mrs, and I am happy for ya bro, you are the man. You are the Phoenix and you go one on one with The Showsteala.

 

(Mack tosses back his whiskey and sets the glass down signaling for a refill, then flashes back this way.)

 

Now, now, now now now is not the time for mister nice guy, oh no. Phoenix came to assist the SEF Owner in a triple threat match and J X CASH and I just formed a team, so we decided we would show you what happens in the 313. You see Phoenix, NBD is not going to get anywhere near that championship. He had his fun and he knows it, he admits he no longer wants it, but says he needs to win it for SEF. No, he does not! Phoenix, I know the game you're playing, I really do love it, it is interesting to me. Its always fun stepping in the ring with you and sooner or later it may not happen again. You and I are on different roads my friend. My road goes one way and I don't brake for no one, I don't swerve either. I cruise to my speed and keep my eyes on the prize. There is no one who can out dance me, but I know how to play.

 

(Mack lifting his glass refilled with whiskey to sip it while keeping his eyes this way.)

 

We're in my house, surrounded by my people and they all know what you should know Phoenix, that Mack is unplayable. You can do whatever you want, but I have been doing it longer. You can jump from side to side, but I been doing that longer. You can be the best on any damn night of the week Phoenix, but I been doing that longer. What you can't do is sit here all damn night and wait for them to come to you because only I can do that. Taylor Andrews can't do that. NBD can't. LBD can't even do that. No Phoenix, no one else except The Showsteala can sit here enjoying the fruits of their labor because no one else did the labor I did to make this place. Sure you carried the place, you held it down and ran with the ball and you are as good as I am, you are a legend Phoenix. And I look forward to going one on one with you for that reason alone, however, after last week we have more than that reason, at least I do. And don't worry, I will stand my ass up and head to the ring to come for you Phoenix, you have that much coming to you.

 

(And Mack looking away to sip his whiskey and set the glass down with his gaze fixed on his double shot glass of whiskey letting his mind slip away as he gets prepared for WAR.)

(The view switches to high above the ring where Jake Voss sits in the rafters clenched in his trenchcoat, long, dark hair hiding his painted face as he stares down towards the bar where Mack sits preparing for WAR.)

 

You're right Mack, I don't care what "they" call me, I could care less what anyone refers to me as because when someone truly calls for ME, I will know it because I am always watching.

 

(Jake grinning in the darkness, so it can barely be seen, like him, but a grin that big, that diabolical can be seen from all the way down by ringside where Frank Malone and Bill McLane will sit to call Friday night WAR. Greg Boone will be nearby to make announcements and Nick Miller holds the hammer for the ring bell that keeps the time of every match tonight. And sitting just behind the curtain is NBD surrounded by Smokey McWeed, Doug Melvin, Tom Walker, and whatever other stooge who thinks they can get on the show by being a yes man. That is why Jake sits up here and Mack sits at the bar, they don't say yes.)

 

Legendary is probably the best word to describe what is to become of every match we have against each other. You are the best when you want to be Mack, when the best is brought out of you, so please, allow me to beat the bery best because I will do just that. And yes, it is not personal to me, at least not that personal. Win or lose I can go home and enjoy the fruits of my own labors knowing that I have built my best life on my own back. You made the place, it is your house, and I will walk in here anytime I want. I will main event this show if that's where I need to be, and I will fight you any night I have to. I will descend to that ring before you or anyone because yes, I can't just sit here and wait like you. Don't get it wrong though, I have patience to pick my spot, but its not so much about patience with me. I know how to play as well Mack, and this is my game indeed, so you just sit there, enjoy the ride, and I'll show the exit. Helping NBD become Universal Champion is not my goal. Last week was just the start of something you'll not see coming. NBD won't even see it, no one will, so keep watching because you can damn sure bet I will always be watching.
