Spent the day with my friend.  ***The Jackal has recently returned to SEF. Two Carnage's ago,, he fought Chief Matt's partner Fortune, and was victorious. Last week on Evolution, he interrupted Matt's show, Matt On A Mission. But Matt got payback later on in the night. Tonight, in a match that leads up to Deadly Destruction, Jackal teams up with Viper to take on Matt & Fortune. This will be the first time Jackal will be able to get his hands on Matt since their heated fued began. And with Viper, a potential opponent at Deadly Destruction, on his team, there is bound to be a lot of tension in tonight's match. Only time will tell how this all will end.*** ***The scene opens up backstage in Jackal's locker room. He is tying up his boots and getting ready for tonight's match. There is a knock at the door, and in walks "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase.*** Ted: Excuse me Jackal? I was wondering if I could get a few words from you? Jackal: Alright. Shoot. Ted: Well, tonight you have a match where you team up with Viper to face Team Halifax. And this Sunday, you get your hands on Matt. I'd like to get your thoughts. Jackal: Well, ever since Matt came back, I've been dying to get my hands on him. Tonight is my first shot. Fortune, I ain't worrying much about him. I kicked his ass a few weeks back. But once me and Matt get in the same ring, there won't be anything holding me back. And as for Viper being my partner. Well, I will admit. He is possibly the best wrestler in SEF. And I'm glad to have him on my team. As long as doesn't get in the way of me whooping Matt's ass, then things should be fine. Ted: What about this Sunday, at what may be SEF's last pay per view? Jackal: Well, like I said. I want to get my hands on Matt. Tonight will just be a small taste of what happens this Sunday. But come this Sunday, me & Matt will face each other on a street in downtown Detroit. It maybe SEF's last show, and our match is the first one. I won't disspoint, and I hope that Matt doesn't either. Ted: You don't? Jackal: Fuck no. I want a damn challenge. But as much as Matt fights, and no matter what shit Mack has in store, I will be the one to emerge victorious, and I will go to the X-Cage. Ted: Alright. Thank you very much. ***Ted leaves the room, and Jackal starts to stretch to prepare for the match. The scene fades.*** ***Later on we see Jackal walking through the halls. He stops and knocks on a door, and then walks inside.*** Jackal: Hello Viper. Viper: Hello. Jackal: Listen, I have something to say to you. You are a talented athlete. You may be the best competitor to ever set foot in SEF. And I have a hell of a lot of respect for you. And tonight, I feel priviledged to have you in my corner. But if you get in the way of me getting my hands on Matt, you WILL regret it. ***Viper takes a step toward Jackal now.*** Jackal: And as for the X-Cage match this Sunday. I will be a part of that, so help me god. And I will be on a mission to show Matt, to show you, to show Mack, to show every goddamn person watching, that I do have the ability and skill to become a world champion. At the end, my hand will be raised. Because as good as you are Viper, you are capable of losing. And I will show you that come Sunday. I will show you when I go through the other six men, and then pin you to the canvas for a three count. Viper: We will just have to see. Jackal: Yeah, I guess we will. ***Jackal exits the locker room, and walks down the hallway toward his locker room. Along the way, he runs into Matt. The former friends and tag team champions give each other a long cold stare.*** Matt: Good luck this Sunday Jackal. You're going to need it. Jackal: Good luck tonight. Your gonna need it. Matt: I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You don't have the skill to be a world champion. And when you lay bleeding in the middle of a Detroit street, maybe then you will realize that. Jackal: Really? Well, only time will tell if you're right. Matt: I am right. And you know it. ***Matt walks off, a cocky grin on his face. Jackal stares after him with a look of anger and loathing. He then walks off as the scene fades.***
