WWE have reportedly reach out with an offer to a former NXT star, according to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer noted that JONAH, who previously wrestled as Bronson Reed, has "had offers to come back to WWE."
The former NXT North American Champion was signed by WWE in January of 2019 and wrestled on NXT until his release on August 6, 2021. Since his release, JONAH has wrestled for both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling.
It was reported in August that Paul 'Triple H' Levesque had interest in bringing him back to the company. Levesque has continued to bring back and reach out to former WWE and NXT stars whose releases were outside of his control.
ONAH shook hands with Kazuchika Okada after losing to The Rainmaker at New Japan's Declaration of Power event on October 10, which made it seem like it was the end of their rivalry. However, in his post-match interview, JONAH said that they had to do a third match, since they were tied 1-1, suggesting they will meet again in the near future.
Last year, JONAH confirmed that he had signed a non-exclusive deal with New Japan and IMPACT, which allowed him to wrestle on other shows. He left IMPACT in May in order to focus on his Japanese commitments.
