Finn Balor respects Chris Jericho's contributions to the wrestling industry, saying "The Wizard" transcends promotional barriers and eras in time.
Finn Balor is a journeyman of the wrestling industry following in the footsteps of names like Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Chris Jericho. Currently, Chris Jericho is still wrestling and some would argue, including Tony Khan, that Chris Jericho is having the best year of his career in 2022.
Speaking to Josh Martinez of the Superstar Crossover podcast, Finn Balor gave his thoughts on Chris Jericho's legacy after a pre-recorded prompt from Y2J himself.
"Chris Jericho is not only an AEW legend, not only a WWE legend, or a Japanese wrestling legend, he's a legend of this business. He's an incredible performer. He's been able to adapt and change his character to suit multiple generations and I feel like he is a treasure of this industry," said Finn.
Chris Jericho is currently working in All Elite Wrestling and is presently the Ring of Honor World Champion. Most recently, Jericho defeated Bryan Danielson in order to retain his title.
Elsewhere in this interview, Balor talks about his 2021 rivalry with another legend of the ring, Roman Reigns. Balor called his story with Roman Reigns open-ended and says he wants another shot at Roman in the coming months. Read more here.
