Sitting in the rafters, again, a spot that that never gets old for Jake Voss, X Phoenix, the WAR TV Champion, and the only real firebird of professional wrestling. His large trenchcoat concealing himself with his long hair hiding most of his painted face as he looms over watching everything below.

D-Mack, bellied up to the bar as usual I see and no promo from ya yet, but I know to expect one and like all these fans in here, I'll be watching you. Unlike all these fans in here I will be stepping in the ring with and unlike most I will be walking out with my title in hand. You are no match for me Mack, just a guy reminiscing at the bar about old times that never die because you never change. I bring change to SEF, necessary and unnecessary, because you have to keep things interesting. Mack, you just wait there and we'll bring the fight to you, the war, the disruption every good entertainment venue needs. We're gonna have fun though, its always fun when doing what you love. Maybe I'll join ya for a shot later. After I get done sending you back to the bar in defeat. I won't be long Mack, don't worry, The Phoenix is on fire this year and the top is where the heat always goes before fading away to the ashes to lay low. I always come back, more than you, better than you Mack, I am the best there is in SEF today. That Golden Goddess can enjoy her time because its coming to an end. Though she has some time left, she will run out of gas while I continue on to look at her in the past, to admire you from the future, I am forever, I am SEF. You built it, I reinvented it and I still am, I am the prime that SEF needs to carry us into the future, and all this for the WAR TV Championship. You know Mack, take it from here, I'll be watching.

Fade back in to D-Mack at the bar of the Underground Arena sipping his whiskey in his ring gear and just a smiling like he don't give a f*ck, cause he don't.

You'll get no argument from me Jake, I agree with everything you said. But you see, I am simply not done with SEF, so you can do all the things you are going to do and you will better SEF for it, you will be better than me for it. You just have to be more patient because I am not done. We both have longevity and we both are not that old, so bide your time, enjoy the ride, and rise to the occasion when you have your opportunity. I will do the same, which is I rise when my match is up and I go do what no one else can do, steal the damn show with a performance you won't get anywhere else. There is only one of me and when I am gone there is no one to fill that void. You can be the next best thing, or someone can, and people will compare us, but we'll not be the same. If we were, well, that wouldn't be very interesting. So I'll keep waiting for this change Jake, I will be right here and when I see it, you'll be the first to know.

 

Mack tosses back his double shot and calls for a refill.
