RAW IS SEF 48 {1/13/03}

Pyros shoot off as Across The Nation by Union Underground plays and Raw kicks off live from the sold out Mohegan Sun Arena In Uncasville, Connecticut! Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler begins the show from near the stage at the announce position!

Jr: Hello everybody and welcome to raw! I am jim ross alongside jerry the king lawler and we have a great show for you tonight!

King: Yes we do! Some good matches are booked for tonight! One of them being for the hardcore title when victoria defends the title against corez and cameron hutton!

Jr: That one has shaped up to be good! Another title on the line is the us title when johnny x defends against strife in what looks to be another good match!

King: Don't forget about that ladder match between matt hardy and dustin gabriel with the loser never being able to go for the hardcore title again!

Jr: That should be interesting! Also in singles action, kevin nash goes one on one against booker t and chris jericho fights stone cold steve austin!

King: Yea, the king of world will wipe up the mat with austin! But I think in the main event, shane douglas will be the man to take the world title from rapid!

Jr: I don't know king, rapid is on a hell of a roll and is looking as good as ever! This match will be a good one, but my prediction would have to be rapid!

Tag Team Match

Details: Both teams, J-Max&Jeff Hardy and Big Evil&Red Devil fail to show up, so the ref declares the match a double countout!

Winner: Double Countout

Jr: Well, I guess neither one of these guys wanted to win!

King: I guess not!

Triple Threat Match
Hardcore Championship

Details: The match starts out with corez and cameron throwing punches, then corez gets a singapore cane and cracks cameron with it and begins beating on him! Victoria runs out with her title and bashes corez in the head, then takes a trash can and nails him in the head with it! Cameron gets up and clubs victoria in the back, then whips her into the ropes and hits a dropkick! He gets a trash can lid and waits for corez to get up, but corez has his hand son a stop sign and quickly jumps up, nailing cameron in the head knocking him down! He jumps on cameron, punching away at him, but victoria gets up and looks to hit him, but corez, notices her and quickly ducks, then gives her a bulldog! He picks up cameron and body slams him, then goes to the top rope and knee drops cameron in the throat! Corez tries pinning, but Victoria breaks it up with a chair shot to corez's skull, then begins beating cameron with the same chair! She then picks up cameron and sets him up, hits the black widow and looks to pin, but shane viper runs out and nails victoria with a lead pipe, then throws her to corez who kicks her in the stomach and hits the corez effect, pins her and wins the match!

Winner: Corez via Pinfall

Jr: My god, can you believe shane hitting a woman with that pipe? Why did he do it?

King: I guess he was just helping corez out! After all they are partners!

Ladder Match
The Loser Of This Match Can Never Go After The Hardcore Title Again In SEF

Details: Both men begin by trading punches with matt getting the upperhand and sending dustin to the corner where he begins stomping the hell out of dustin! He then goes outside teh ringa nd grabs the ladder, bringing it in the ring and setting up going for the early win! Dustin gets up and runs over, pulls matt off the ladder and begins stomping the hell out of him! Dustin picks up matt and whips into the corner, then runs at him, but matt moves out of the way! he grabs dustin by the hair and pulls him down, slamming him to the mat, then goes up to the second rope and gives dustin a leg drop! Matt picks up dustin and whips him into the ropes, looking for a clothesline, but misses and recieves a flying forearm smash from dustin! Dustin kicks at matt, then picks him up and suplexes him near the corner, goes up top and looks for a senton bomb, but matt moves at the last second! Matt grabs the ladder and folds it up, then rams into dustins ribs, sets it up in the corner, then picks up dustin and whips into the ladder, backfirst! Dustin hits the ladder and falls down holding his back! Matt runs over, picks him up and whips dustin into the ropes, then grabs him from there and hits the side effect! Matt Gets the ladder again and sets it up right over dustin, then starts climbing! As gets near the top, dustin gets up and climbs up the other side and almost reaches matt, when lita jumps in the ring and pulls dustin down allowing matt to garbs the contract a the top and win the match! Ashley gets in and tries taking down lita, but lita knocks her down and leaves with matt!

Winner: Matt Hardy

Jr: That was a good ladder match between matt and dustin, but now, dustin can never go after the hardcore title again!

King: Hey, dustin should never have messed with matt hardy version 1.0!

Singles Match

Details: Nash and booker begin by locking up with each other! Nash easily overpowers booker and sends him to the mat, then lifts him up and whips booker into the ropes and clotheslines him! nash stomps booker a few times, then drops an elbow, but booker moves and jumps up! Once up booker stomps away at nash, then picks him up and whips nash into the ropes, but gets reversed and comes back with a flying forearm smash! Nash stays standing and booker tries again, but receives a big boot this time! Booker gets up and nash knees him in the gutm sets him up and nails the jacknife powerbomb, then pins booker to win the match!

Winner: Kevin Nash via Pinfall

Jr: Good match! Both men showed some good moves tonight, but nash had the victory!

King: Yea he did! Booker just got beat down!

United States Championship

Details: Johnny waits in the ring for strife and after a while, the ref makes a call and counts out strife for not showing up!

Winner: Johnny X via No Show

Jr: Thats odd, I wonder why strife didn't show up? This was for the us title!

King: I know! I guess he must still be having trouble finding himself!

Singles Match

Details: Jericho and austin start brawling with austin getting the upperhand! The action soon spills outside where both men fight up the ramp and head b/s! The ref issues a count, but both men ignore it and are counted out!

Winner: Double Countout

Jr: Well, I guess neither jericho or austin cared for this match!

King: I guess not!

Fatal Four Way Elimination
World Heavyweight Championship

Details: The match starts out with all foyr men staring at each other, then benoit runs at rapid who just sticks out his arm and drops him easily with a clothesline! Shane and flair start trading punches as rapid picks up benoit and hits the rx explosion, then locks in the crippler crossface on him and benoit ends up tapping out! Rapid just gets up and laughs as benoit is escorted out since he was eliminated! Flair has shane reeling and dropkicks him, sending him outside! As he turns around, rapid charges and hits the exterminator on him and tries pinning, but only gets two! Rapid looks in shock, then, wasting lill time he starts punching away at flair, picks him upa nd whips him into the ropes going for a clothesline! Flair ducks and shane jumps in the ring and knocks rapid down from behind! He starts stomping at him when flair comes over and grabs shane, giving him a german suplex, but rapid breaks it up and picks up flair giving him the rx explosion, then pins him and elimiantes him! Shane gets up and stomps on rapid, then picks him up and whips him into the ropes, executing a belly to belly suplex! Shane goes for the pin, but only gets two! He jumps up and argues with the ref, then turns around and rapid charges for an exterminator, but shane moves and the ref gets hit! He begins stomping rapid and picks him looking for the pitsburgh plunge, but rapid counters with a suplex, then picks up shane and sets him up for the rx explosion, but all of ecw come running out and attack rapid, beating him down! Johnny X comes running out as shane jumps in the ring with a chair and they look to take out ecw, but to no avail and are beaten down as well! Shane begins beating on rapid and looks to have him put away, kevin nash and the outlaws led by daddy mack in a ref shirt come running out and hit the ring, destroying ecw! The only ones left in the ring are the knocked out ref, mack, rapid and shane! Rapid and shane get to their feet and shane gets the upperhand due to rapid getting attacked more! Shane looks for the pittsburgh plunge and hits it, but has he gets up, mack nails da shows ova, rolls rapid on shane and counts the fall thus issuing rapid the winner!

Winner: Rapid via Pinfall

Jr: What a messed up match! First ecw attacks and shane looks to win teh match, then of all people dx run out and save the day!

King: I know, thats not fair, shane was screwed! He should be the champ!

Jr: I don't know about that, but in any case it was kinda weird, but worked out fair! Anywas folks, thats it for raw, we'll see ya next week and have a goodnight!
