I know that this should go on the the Backstage board but this is too important not to put here.

Ten years ago, a little girl made her surprise debut on this planet and changed my and Norm's world forever. With her tiny little fingers and her first smile, my heart melted and made me a mother. For the first month and 19 days, she had a rough time with being in a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) after being born at home with only me to be her first doctor (I stupidly sent Norm to the store thinking I was incredibly hungry. WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON!), I took a fluffy white towel and wrapped her in it and put the placenta in the bathroom sink and proceeded to call for help. Norm's grandfather called an ambulance and they got to Elizabeth Ray and I real quick like. We were taken care of real good and today, she is a thriving little girl on her way to embark on a journey through her preteen years. So awe-inspiring to think that Norman and I were told we couldn't have kids and now we have a 10 year old and an 8 year old (her and her brother were born a year and 23 days apart).

Betty Ray, my sweet and beautiful Raven Butterfly, may you continue to grow and thrive and prove everyone wrong like you did the day you were born. Your father, brother, and I love you very much and hope that you have a great day!
