Hey everybody! It's @TheMagnumDA with another installment of the PPV Pick'em report. Tonight we're in PHILLY, so you know it's going to get EXTREME. Tonight, Colin puts the prestigious WOPC Championship on the line against yours truly in a Confidence Pool pick'em. How does that work? We put 1-6 points behind each of our picks – whoever has the most points at the end of the night is the champion. If there's a tie? The title doesn't change hands. So what are we waiting for?
ON WITH THE PICKS!
Six-Man Tag Team Match – Donnybrook Rules!
The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch) vs. Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci)
Magnum: Sheamus and GUNTHER had one hell of a match last night on Smackdown. I think the Brutes are going to get a win after the way last night ended – looking forward to another Fight Night in Philly! Three points.
Colin: Banger after banger after banger after banger. This match is probably going to hurt in more ways than one. I think the Brutes are due for a win so they are my pick for this one. Three points.
"I Quit" Match
Edge vs. Finn Bálor (with The Judgment Day)
Magnum: I'm convinced that Beth and/or family will play a role in the way this one ends. I'll take Balor to win through nefarious means. Four points.
Colin: This is an interesting one. If Balor quits, then everything they've been doing goes up in flames. If Edge quits, well, it's Edge. I can see some kind of scenario where Edge has to quit to save someone and that would be a good way to make Balor win and Edge still comes out strong. Balor wins, one point.
Strap Match
Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlett)
Magnum: I think this is Kross' big coming out party. He's going to put himself on the map with a gigantic victory here. I can't go all the way with this, but I'll say five points for the win.
Colin: This is Kross' first big match since his return so I can't see him losing this one. Maybe Drew's back problems will play into this one but somehow, someway, Kross gets the win. Six points.
WWE Raw Women's Championship – Ladder Match
Bianca Belair (c) (with Alexa Bliss and Asuka) vs. Bayley (with Damage CTRL)
Magnum: This is a tough one, and I'm only going to put one point on it – this is Bayley's night. I think this will be a fantastic, wild fight...but in the end. Bayley ends the long title reign of The EST.
Colin: As much as I'd like to see Bayley with the title, I'm thinking they're not ready to take the belt off Bianca yet. Can see several interference in this one and some crazy spots and hopefully everyone stays safe. Bianca retains – five points.
WWE SmackDown Women's Championship- Extreme Rules
Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey
Magnum: I could see Liv winning again, but like the last time...it's going to be extremely controversial. I wouldn't be surprised by Ronda winning, and then having the decision reversed, or some kind of chicanery that ends with Liv winning. Two points.
Colin: Tough one. Liv, unfortunately, didn't do much as a champion. Ronda didn't want the title last time around so what the hell do you do. Liv already has one win over Ronda and I think this will be a match the baddest woman on the planet cannot lose. New champion Ronda Rousey! Two points.
Fight Pit Match – Daniel Cormier as Special Guest Referee
Matt Riddle vs. Seth "Freakin" Rollins
Magnum: This is a really cool match type – I cannot wait to see this match in a WWE setting. As for the match itself, Rollins has dominated on the mic and in the ring, so it's time for Riddle to get revenge. I like Riddle and I am very confident about his chances – give me six points on it.
Colin: I like the Fight Pit concept. It's something just about different from the usual and it looks cool on TV. Adding Cormier as the guest referee was a good idea. I would imagine that Matt Riddle being a former MMA fighter will come out on top in this one. Bro! Four points.
Alright fans, that is going to do it for Colin and I! We will see you next time for the PPV Pick'em report right here at Wrestling-Online! @TheMagnumDA signing out.
